It was a fashionable Sunday night for the stars who got dressed up for Hollywood Life's 5th Annual Hollywood Style Awards at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. Members of the Mad Men cast decided to skip out on watching their new episode and came out to the show and afterparty looking beautiful out of costume. AnnaLynne McCord accepted the People's Choice award for 90210 for Most Stylish TV Cast and brought her lookalike sister along as her date. Eve, Ludacris, and Tyrese played it cool for the cameras while Sophia Bush and Kristen Bell smiled wide and Molly Sims laughed on the red carpet. Looks like it was a fun night showing off their personal style and honoring their onscreen looks, both of which we love to deconstruct. Last week on Mad Men, Don and Betty finally came to the conclusion that their marriage wasn't working. Roger, on the other hand, finally stopped complaining about his marriage and mustered up enough courage to leave Mona for the younger and seemingly more interesting Jane. The 60th annual Primetime Emmy Awards were a spectacle as Mad Men made history on ABC as basic cable's first show to win a best drama award. In fact, more shows came into the limelight to win awards, such as 30 Rock, which was able to take home four trophies that night, including the NBC series' second consecutive recognition for best comedy series. 30 Rock star Tina Fey gushed as she further promoted the show, saying that it is now available through several avenues such as NBC.com, Hulu.com, iTunes, Verizon phones and much more. Newbies Breaking Bad and Damages also picked up awards for Bryan Cranston and Glenn Close.
However, most notable was the award given to Mad Men, which garnered two million viewers for one of its episodes. Creator Matthew Weiner thanked the supporters of the show, saying, "I want to thank all the people that went before us »
The ladies were bursting with color and sparkle at last night's Emmy Awards. Christina Applegate looked positively radiant and was the talk of the night — smiley, happy and healthy. Mary Louise Parker was the most eye catching of all in her bright blue number though you all were fairly divided on the look while Brooke Shields lived up to the name of her show in Lipstick pink. Heidi Klum went dramatic while Eva Longoria was all tied up in a bow with Tony on her arm. Debra Messing was one of Fab's best dressed but what do you think? Not an easy task. The Post caught up with the 29-year-old to get the scoop on "Mad Men's" hotly anticipated season two premiere.

They don't make women like "Mad Men's" Joan Holloway anymore . and that's too bad because every office could do with a little more of her attitude, wit and killer curves. And if Joan is a knock-out, the same . and more . should be said of Christina Hendricks, the woman who infuses Joan with an inner-spark, making her one of primetime TV's most intriguing characters.
In this exclusive interview, Christina tries to dance her way out of answering spoiler-iffic questions, but can't help but reveal a tasty morsel »

Befitting a television show about the dark art of advertising, Mad Men boasts irresistible surfaces, from the sharp suits and Good Housekeeping dresses to the fussy production design that lovingly recreates Madison Avenue in 1960. The show inhabits a world both seductive and sinister, but what sets it apart is the substance behind the shimmering exteriors. Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner imbues his ad men, suburban moms, and single gals with a depth more common to literature than television. Supporting characters that initially appear as mere sharply drawn caricatures emerge as staggeringly complex figures. The protagonist's picture-perfect trophy wife (January Jones), for example, grows infinitely more compelling once it becomes apparent that her façade masks quiet suffering and madness. At least half a dozen supporting characters merit their own spin-offs, from Christina Hendricks as an office vamp who's figured out all the angles to Vincent Kartheiser as a weasely striver »

TORONTO -- Canadian broadcaster CTV on Thursday said it has acquired the first two seasons of AMC's "Mad Men" and intends to give the U.S. cable drama its first free TV airdate.
Toronto-based CTV said it picked up the Canadian conventional and cable TV rights to "Mad Men", which was created by executive producer/writer Matthew Weiner and produced by Lionsgate.
CTV also acquired the broadband and VOD rights for the second season, which AMC ordered in September after "Mad Men" had a successful rookie season on the U.S. cable channel.
CTV in 2000 became the first free, over-the-air TV network to air "The Sopranos", which Weiner executive produced and helped write. Now it will do the same with Weiner's latest creation, a drama set on Madison Avenue in the 1960s.
"With creator Matt Weiner, there's a real pedigree evident in 'Mad Men' that originates directly from 'The Sopranos.' Weiner's years on 'The Sopranos' has manifested in the experience he brings to this next, great, big buzz show," Susanne Boyce, president of creative, content and channels at CTV, said of her latest acquisition. »
