Richard Hayward was born on October 24, 1892 in Southport, Lancashire, England as Harold Richard Hayward. He is known for his work on A Night to Remember (1958), Devil's Rock (1938) and The Luck of the Irish (1936). He was married to Dorothy Elizabeth Gamble and Elma Hayward.
