David Hayter was born on February 6, 1969 in Santa Monica, California, USA as David Bryan Hayter. He is an actor and writer, known for X-Men 2 (2003), X-Men (2000) and Watchmen (2009).

Trivia (11)

Famous as the voice of Solid Snake in Konami's Metal Gear Solid games.
Wrote an unused draft of The Chronicles of Riddick (2004).
His parents are Canadian, and he holds dual US and Canadian citizenship.
Wrote an unused draft of Hulk (2003).
Wrote a 138-page screenplay adaptation to the graphic novel "Watchmen", by Alan Moore and David Gibbons, which has been hailed as one of the most accurate translations of comics to films ever written.
Formerly used the alias "Sean Barker" for some voice acting projects. He took this from the name of the character he played in Guyver: Dark Hero (1994).
Before the project cancellation, he was to have made his directorial debut with a movie adaptation of Marvel comics' Black Widow character. His daughter Natasha (born April 2004) was named after this character because he is such a big Black Widow fan.
A common misconception is that he is the voice actor for numerous EA Sports television commercials (usually saying the end line "EA Sports: It's in the game!"). The actual actor for these commercials is Andrew Anthony.
Is the only Metal Gear Solid actor to actually play and beat the games he voice-acted in.
Is good friends with fellow "Metal Gear" voice-over artist, Kim Mai Guest.
He speaks fluent Japanese.
