- Hosted the "Family Film Festival" on Channel 5, KTLA in Los Angeles. During the show, he would often draw cartoon figures, like Popeye.
- (1959) Hosted a TV show as early as 1959 in Los Angeles on KTLA channel 5 called the Popeye show, on which he did the studio segments that ran between 1930's and '40's Popeye cartoons, made by the Max Fleischer Studio, who also created Betty Boop. He would have children draw a shape and would then draw something something from the shape the child had drawn. He was also a accomplished artist and cartoonist. The Popeye show came and went several times on KTLA, once in the late 1960's, for a short time in the mid-1970s, and was back again in the 1980's with no studio audience.
