Film Friday Shows another Clip from Soul Fire Rising Entitled I Give You My Soul

So, Film Friday continues with another episode from Soul Fire Rising called "I Give You My Soul," which is so thick with religious themes that one might wonder: is the source Christian influenced? After some investigation this webseries is not Christian sourced, but simply from the twisted writing mind of Kurt Patino (Cup O' Joe). Also, the soul is heavily referenced in the series, and here is that lesson you were hoping to avoid, the soul is an ancient reference to the heart as the seat of human consciousness from Greek philosophy. However, science has refuted this belief and shown that the mind is, of course, the seat of man's consciousness, behaviours and the instigator for emotions. Have a watch as character Lilith demands the soul of others which could be given a way freely as this concept is not based in reality!

Tom Sizemore has fallen pretty far from grace of late, but he's got a few fans on the Dread Central staff and we're definitely hoping to see the guy get his A game back. One of his current projects (not Celebrity Rehab) looks and sounds like it might be able to pull it off.

C.L.A.S.S., starring Tom Sizemore and now shooting in Los Angeles, is directed by Michael Phillip Edwards and written and produced by Sheldon Robins. The film co-stars Paige La Pierre, Jamison Haase, Randy Irwin, Dante Bosco, and Sam Daly. Here's the full synopsis courtesy of the official C.L.A.S.S. website:

When brilliant female law student Fiona Reid signs up for Professor Mark Sloan’s criminology class, she quickly realizes she has signed on for more than what she bargained for. Fiona discovers there’s more than theory behind the good professor’s seemingly masterful way of getting into »

Here she plays a law student who takes Sizemore's criminology class. Both are soon on the hunt for a serial killer that has targeted their town.
