Bruce Hart was educated at Syracuse University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree, and at Yale Law School (LL.B.). He wrote special material for Carl Ballantine and Larry Hankin and for the Charles Playhouse in Boston. His sketches include "Uncle Bergie" and "Rod-Wright", and he joined ASCAP in 1961.
