The Flash Season 3 Review

One episode was provided prior to broadcast.

Whenever a season finale ends on a jaw-dropping cliffhanger, the challenge to pay it off in a satisfying way can often be too much for a given show to bear. When Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) travelled back in time in the season 2 finale to save his mother (Michelle Harrison) from the Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher), longtime fans of DC Comics knew exactly what was coming next: the show’s version of the popular 2011 Geoff Johns/Andy Kubert comic Flashpoint. Once it was announced that The Flash season 3 would indeed premiere with an episode bearing that very same title, discussion then turned to exactly what elements The CW series would take from the comics and how it would serve the story at hand.

For those unfamiliar, Flashpoint (the comic, not the TV episode) sees The Flash rescue his mother during his childhood and inadvertently create

Did Cisco Just Crack the Case of Barry's Mother's Murder on The Flash?!

Did Cisco Just Crack the Case of Barry's Mother's Murder on The Flash?!
Ever since the very first episode of The Flash, fans have speculated that on the night that Barry's (Grant Gustin) mother Nora (Michelle Harrison) was murder, there were actually two speedsters in the house, not just the mysterious Reverse Flash. And now that we're more than halfway through the wildly-successful first season, our theories are being proven true, thanks to Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes). After the epic events of "The Man In the Yellow Suit," the S.T.A.R. Labs genius figured out that seeing both red and yellow lightning during Barry and the Reverse Flash's fight was just like how young Barry described the night of his mother's murder, meaning there was more than one metahuman...
