Emily S. Whitten: Animaniacs Live!

7 August 2016 1:00 PM, PDT | Comicmix.com | See recent Comicmix news »

So I used to think the best way to wrap up a con was to find a nice, quiet, atmospheric bar with some awesome friends and partake of a tasty dessert and a refreshing alcoholic beverage. But I have now changed my mind! That is the second best way to finish out the convention experience. The first is to have your last panel of the con be the Animaniacs Live! panel; as I learned firsthand at Sdcc 2016.

Anyone who knows me at all (or reads all of my columns, and obviously you should all be doing that!) knows I’m a huge fan of Animaniacs, and will probably never get tired of writing about the different facets of its awesomeness. I’ve also had the pleasure of interviewing several of its key talents – including Rob Paulsen (Yakko, Pinky), Maurice Lamarche (The Brain, Squit, Jess Harnell (Wakko), and most recently, Randy Rogel. »

Crash Bandicoot Joins Skylanders Imaginators: See the Toy and Trailer

13 June 2016 9:57 PM, PDT | TheHDRoom | See recent TheHDRoom news »

Crash Bandicoot is officially joining Skylanders Imaginators as confirmed during Sony's E3 Press Conference earlier this evening. His existence in a PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 Skylanders Imaginators Starter Packs was outed by a foreign retailer last week, and that leak turned out to be on the money.

While Crash Bandicoot guest-starring in Skylanders Imaginators might seem like old news I guarantee this isn't. Unlike last year's Nintendo guest stars in Skylanders SuperChargers, Bowser and Donkey Kong, who were only playable on Wii U or 3Ds, Crash will be fully playable on all platforms.

Developer Toys For Bob has brought Crash Bandicoot into Skylanders Imaginators as a Skylander Sensei character and a new toy figure. He's voiced by Jess Harnell, who voiced the character in the classic PlayStation games, and will include signature attacks such as exploding TNT Crates, the Bazooka Crate with rocket launcher, signature spin attack, exploding crates with 3-2-1 countdowns, wumpa fruit, jetpack attack from high in the air, and more.

As a Sensei character Crash will have a unique Sky-Chi attack, in his case the ability to use a yo-yo to yank his enemies into a devastating spin attack.

The only way to get the Crash Bandicoot Skylander figure is in the PS4 or PS3 Skylanders Imaginators Starter Packs. He may be available later… »

The Real-Life Pinky and the Brain Are Still 'Dear Friends' 18 Years After Show Went off the Air

28 April 2016 2:15 PM, PDT | PEOPLE.com | See recent PEOPLE.com news »

If you are in the right Los Angeles restaurant at just the right time, you might catch Pinky and the Brain enjoying a meal together (but not plotting to take over the world). Voiceover icon Rob Paulsen, who is known for his work on Animaniacs (Yakko), Pinky and the Brain (Pinky) and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Raphael) says he is still "dear friends" with Maurice Lamarche, The Brain to his Pinky - and the pair cause a stir when they are out together (but only if someone finds out who they are).
