Mini Bio (1)
Kyle Ham grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, splitting time between his suburban upbringing and his grandfather's cattle farm. He studied theatre and film at DePauw University, after which he began a twenty-year career freelancing at companies such as Disney, Miramax and Discovery. In 1995, Kyle began a long-term screenwriting collaboration with playwright Steve Timm, his former professor, which has resulted in at least three works to date - of which REPARATION was the first. In their body of work, Kyle & Steve focus on stories that illuminate the constant, dual struggle that characters face: to come to terms simultaneously with themselves and the world around them. In early 2014, Kyle studied directing under Joan Scheckel and began raising funds to make REPARATION, his feature directorial debut.
