New craptastic image of the Green Goblin from ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2′

18 March 2014 6:13 AM, PDT | Blogomatic3000 | See recent Blogomatic3000 news »

The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which is once again directed by Marc Webb, stars Andrew Garfield as the titular hero, alongside Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Jamie Foxx as Electro, Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn and Paul Giamatti as Rhino, as well as Felicity Jones, Sally Field, Chris Cooper, Brian Haley, Colm Feore, and B.J. Novak.

And it’s this new image of Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn / Green Goblin which reveals just how awful the new Spider-Man movie is set to be. Less Green Goblin and more techno-suited meth addict methinks!

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro »

New Trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2

24 February 2014 3:22 AM, PST | HeyUGuys.co.uk | See recent HeyUGuys news »

The wait is over! The second trailer for highly anticipated The Amazing Spider-Man 2 leaked earlier in the month, but was sadly swiftly removed from the surface of the Internet.

It was always just a matter of time before its return, though, and now Sony have (re-)launched the trailer this morning. And if you saw it the first time around, you’ll know it’s definitely worth the wait. Emma Stone’s expression when she shouts Peter’s name near the end is just brilliant.

In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. »

Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is undeniably one of the most anticipated blockbusters of the year, sure to be one of the highest earners at the box office in the coming months.

Sony launched a brilliant first trailer in time for Christmas last year, setting the tone masterfully for the second instalment in what will at least be a quadrilogy, not to mention a new Cinematic Universe for Sony. Since then, the have released an international trailer teasing more of the comedic elements, and more recently an awesome Super Bowl TV spot that was swiftly followed by an extended 4-minute ‘Enemies Unite’ sizzle reel.

With less than three months on the clock before Peter Parker is back in action on our screens, the studio have released another fantastic new trailer to whet our appetites.

Super Bowl TV Spot Preview for The Amazing Spider-Man 2

31 January 2014 1:28 AM, PST | HeyUGuys.co.uk | See recent HeyUGuys news »

If you’re wondering who’s going to be come out on top this Sunday at the Super Bowl, my money is on The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Sony have launched an epic first part to their Super Bowl TV spot for Marc Webb’s blockbuster sequel, and it is nothing short of brilliant.

The Internet is buzzing with the idea that it teases Gwen Stacy’s fate, but I can’t help but feel that that part of the comic books won’t be happening this time around. No doubt I’ll be eating my words in a few months’ time, but I really hope Webb and co. will save it for the next chapter.

In the past two months, we’ve seen an awesome first trailer, a little more comedy in the second, international trailer, and most recently a great little preview over New Year’s, and it’s all been absolutely brilliant, »

After seeing Spidey and Electro heading up two new posters for Marc Webb’s highly anticipated The Amazing Spider-Man 2 earlier, Sony has launched a third poster to follow that pits the two characters together.

The stand-off between these two is all but guaranteed to be epic, quite possibly leading to a showdown in Times Square, and you’d better believe that this is an absolute must-see of the year, let alone the summer blockbuster season.

The first trailer that surfaced at the start of last month promised all-out action, with the international trailer that followed adding a little comedy into the mix, so things are definitely looking good for the franchise.

Spidey was the superhero of choice at the New Year’s celebrations at Times Square, and to make the evening even sweeter, Sony debuted a great new preview for The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

The first trailer promised epic action worthy of following up the 2012 reboot, with the more recent international trailer showing off a little of the comedy that was so well received in the first film. And this new preview teases a little of both, promising an awesome showdown between Spider-Man and Electro in the iconic New York setting.
