‘The Sopranos’ Strip Club Location Satin Dolls Is Closing Amid Criminal Investigation
In a case of life imitating art, the New Jersey location of Tony Soprano’s infamous Bada Bing! strip club has been shut down amid pending criminal investigation, the AP reports. The Lodi, New Jersey strip club Satin Dolls has been accused of solicitation of prostitution, lewd activity, and failure to account for “large amounts of cash moving in and out of the businesses.” “Illegal activity was glorified at the ‘Bada Bing’ in the fictional world of Tony Soprano, but it has no place in modern-day New Jersey,” said New Jersey Attorney General Christopher S. Porrino in a release. “It’s time to shut it down.”

The owners of Satin Dolls have been under investigation for six years, according to the Ag’s report. One of the owners, Anthony Cardinalle, admitted to federal income tax evasion in 1995, and pled guilty in 2013 to a racketeering conspiracy linked to the Genovese crime family.

Can Bill Hader Turn “Barry” Into the Next Comedic “Breaking Bad?”

So the show starring Bill Hader, Barry, is believed to be the next big hit like Breaking Bad? So far from the trailer it looks like the uninspired story about a hitman, which would be a far cry from the kind of success story that was Breaking Bad, at least from the standpoint of the main character. Maybe it’s alluding to the fact that the ex-marine is finding no joy in his life and decides to make a big change that will somehow derail his chances at the dream he wants to pursue as a member of the La theater

‘Barry’ Trailer: Bill Hader Takes the Spotlight in HBO’s New Hit Man Comedy — Watch
HBO has now given us something to look forward to for the coming new year, and it comes in the form of Bill Hader in the network’s upcoming comedy “Barry.”

The recently released trailer features Hader as a “world-class” assassin named Barry, whose name seems to be known (and maybe frowned upon) by what looks like a lot of people from the criminal underworld. However, when he travels to Los Angeles to get a job done, he becomes engrossed in a scene you wouldn’t expect a hit man to be interested in: the Los Angeles theater community.

First ‘Barry’ Trailer Reveals Bill Hader’s Hitman HBO Series

HBO revealed the first teaser trailer for the upcoming comedy series Barry last night just before the Curb Your Enthusiasm finale. The show stars Bill Hader as a hitman who, after following his intended target to an acting class, finds himself intrigued and decides to become an actor and change his life. Hader created the series with Silicon Valley executive producer Alec Berg and makes his directorial debut helming episodes of the series. This teaser is very much a teaser in that it just offers a tiny taste of the series, but I like how the show looks to be …

‘Barry’ Trailer: Bill Hader Plays An Assassin Turned Actor

HBO suffered a catastrophic blow to its security and intellectual property this past summer: their flagship series “Game Of Thrones,” and two of its most important episodes, were leaked online before the show aired on those oh-so anticipated Sunday nights. Script and plot summaries were also leaked and a hacker demanded $6 million to keep the data secret in extortion emails sent to HBO’s staff according to reports. That hacker was caught—and will be fucked for life once his sentence comes in—but what was lost in the ‘Thrones’ noise was the fact that additional HBO shows had been compromised: “Insecure,” Larry David’s long-awaited return to “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and the first two episodes of Bill Hader’s “Barry” show, set for a 2018 release.

Power Rangers star still hopeful of a sequel

Prior to the release of Power Rangers, it was reported that Lionsgate had big hopes for the reboot, and was looking at making up to seven movies based upon the long-running TV franchise.

Unfortunately, a $142 million worldwide gross from a budget of $100 million appears to have put those plans to rest; however, speaking to The Wrap, actor Dacre Montgomery – who played the Red Ranger – has revealed that he and the cast are still hopeful of a sequel.

“I think that cast, we’re like family — we have a little group chat — we all would love to do a sequel. I know we’d all be there in a heartbeat and if something does come through the woodwork, which I’m not suggesting it wouldn’t — I actually don’t think it’s out of sight, but if it does, we’d be very excited to do a sequel.”

The Last Word on ‘Sausage Party’

Yeah, I’m sure somebody’s going to Hell for making ‘Sausage Party‘, and I’m probably going there with them, although considering the options, I’ll take it. I’d rather be swinging on a star and carry honey-flavored mustard in a jar than be a fish or a pig, or a hot dog or a bun, or be that jar or honey mustard, or for that matter, pretty much any food one can think of. Of course, I know what happens out in the “Great Beyond”, the legendary place outside Shopwell’s supermarket where all the foods hope and prey that one day, they’ll be chosen by the gods to go to. The latest hallucinogenic-inspired piece of insanity from the writing team of Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg, is an R-rated animated feature, about food.
