- Sarah-Jane Gwillim, Assistant Professor of Theatre (acting) at the University of Michigan, is a graduate of London's Central School of Speech and Drama. Prior to immigrating to the U.S., she worked extensively in British television and repertory theatre. She numbers among her roles St. Joan, Isabella in Measure for Measure opposite John Neville and, on television, leading roles opposite Glenda Jackson, Timothy Dalton and Malcolm McDowell, among others. In the U.S., she has performed both on and off-Broadway and at regional theaters including the Goodman, Cincinnati Playhouse, McCarter, Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Hartford Stage Company and both the Stratford and the California Shakespeare Festivals. She has stood by for Glenda Jackson in the Broadway production of Macbeth starring Christopher Plummer.
