Portrayed Buddy Sorrell in the Carl Reiner 1959 television pilot "Head of the Family" which eventually became the basis for The Dick Van Dyke Show (1961).
Hosted a local children's TV show, The Funny Company (1963). The series was seen weekday afternoons on WOR-TV (Channel 9) in New York City from 23 September 1963 to 29 May 1964. The series returned under another title, "The Morty Gunty Show", and was still seen weekday afternoons on WOR-TV. It remained on the air from 1 June 1964 until it was cancelled on 1 January 1965.
