Ever since Rangoon’s trailer hit the internet, people can’t stop talking about the film and it’s steller star cast. With Rangoon’s songs, out as well, it seems like it is going to be a melodic adventure. Vishal Bhardwaj yet again works his magic on the tunes with Gulzar’s lyrics. Like Haider and Omkara, the duo is back with lyricism that is not often heard in Bollywood films. “Bloody Hell’’ is one such example. The song has an interesting old world charm with Gulzar’s experimentation. “Ye Ishq Hai” has already started trending on YouTube and when its Vishal Bhardwaj and romance, you know it can’t get better than that. With the fusion of Sitar and the Flute that are accompanied by Arijit Singh’s vocals, you know you will be playing it ‘on loop’ for rest of the day. From the song titles to interesting lyrics, »

Welcome back, Shaad Ali. It was a Mani Ratnam remake that gave us Shaad, one of the sharpest smartest directors in Saathiya. It is another Mani Ratnam remake that brings Shaad back in form after a string of duds.
Ok Jaanu (ignore the yucky title) is smart, slick heartwarming and utter endearing as Shaad, from material moulded in Mani’s imagination , forges out an urban love story set in the city that gives love a shove for more practical considerations, like making a living and realizing your ambitions.
Meet Adi and Tara, a couple so believable in their exuberant ambitions and the determination to lock their mutual adoration in a chastity belt, that you can’t help feeling exasperated at their blindness to see the obvious.

Times Of India film critic, Nihit Bhave wrote, "The thing that works »
Known to put his heart and soul into every project, ace film-maker Vishal Bhardwaj has definitely gone the extra mile for his larger than life period drama Rangoon. The director flew down Norway-based choreographer Sudesh Adhana to train Kangana Ranaut for the song Bloody Hell. The actress will be playing the role of a diva in the movie.
“Sudesh is not just a choreographer but also a lecturer in modern dance. We collaborated on an opera in Paris, A Flowering Tree, which I directed and he choreographed. Then, we joined hands for Haider’s ‘Bismil’, which bagged him a National Award. He is an unusual personality. This song is from a film within the film and Kangana worked really hard to get the dance form right”, says Vishal.
