David A. Stewart was born on September 9, 1952 in Sunderland, Tyne-and-Wear, England as David Allan Stewart. He is known for his work on Alfie (2004), Beautiful Girls (1996) and Eurythmics: Sweet Dreams (1983). He has been married to Anoushka Fisz since August 4, 2001. They have two children. He was previously married to Siobhan Fahey.

Became famous in the early 1980s as part of the British synth-pop duo Eurythmics, which also included Annie Lennox.
