The current console kings are the PS4 and the Xbox One. Here are the best prices...

When I was a kid, the rival consoles of the hour were the Sega MegaDrive and the Nintendo 64. Those days are now behind us (although you can still buy those classic consoles), with the 'which one do you have?' console conflict now firmly being a face-off between Sony and Microsoft.

Legion’s finale was just as barmy as we’ve come to expect. Here are some questions, and our attempts to answer them. Spoilers...

This feature contains spoilers for the Legion finale.

Legion season one has come to an end, and as you probably could’ve predicted, the finale was a bit of a bamboozling experience. Since season two has already been confirmed, there was no need here for anything to be properly wrapped up.

Instead, in keeping with the show’s mind-bending M.O., we were left with a lot of questions and not many answers when the credits rolled on episode »

There was some interesting stuff in this episode, not least the twist with Colleen which was reasonably interesting (if more or less exactly what I was expecting based on stuff set up in earlier episodes). The appearance of Davos also gave us »

Iron Fist Season 1 Episode 10 Review – ‘Black Tiger Steals Heart’

Shaun Munro reviews the tenth episode of Iron Fist

Iron Fist enters its final stretch with more barmy revelations, though they at least feel decidedly more pared-down and reined-in than episode nine’s ludicrous, divisive resurrection of Harold.

For all its flaws, “Black Tiger Steals Heart” is certainly full of juicy revelations. We learn much more about Colleen’s sensei Bakuto (Ramón Rodríguez), a seemingly viable ally to help Danny make the most of his chi-driven abilities. Bakuto’s curiously complex motives near-instantly make him one of the series’ most intriguingly enigmatic characters, and difficult for viewers to totally get a bead on.

Episode ten also does a great job furthering The Hand’s involvement, as the extent of their reach becomes mostly clear, even if it’s not massively surprising. Still, there’s a twist here that’s pulled off well enough, and fundamentally changes much of what viewers »

The Void review

16 March 2017 9:02 AM, PDT | Den of Geek | See recent Den of Geek news »

There's a lot of buzz surrounding 80s throwback horror film The Void, but is it actually worth your time?

The horror scene is currently littered with filmmakers who grew up with classic 80s horror movies. I’m old enough to remember the era (super old) and those films got about as much respect from your more discerning audience as the present horror influx does, i.e. basically none; but it’s still acceptably cool to like old horror movies - they’ve had the time to earn it.

WWE going after Matt & Jeff Hardy, original Bayley title plans revealed…

24 February 2017 11:59 AM, PST | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

With Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe seemingly aligning with Triple H, many are speculating that we could be seeing the formation of The Authority 2.0.

If, for some bizarre reason, you want to relive The Authority’s first incarnation, you can pick up WWE’s official comic book that’s been detailing Seth Rollins siding with the McMahon-Helmsley faction. In a recent issue, Seth meets up with Triple H on The Game’s evil super-yacht base called The Sea-Rebral Assassin.

I want us all to take a moment to recognise what a solid pun that is.

We also need to recognise another achievement – Ring of Honor’s 15th anniversary.

The promotion’s first show – The Era of Honor Begins – was held on the 23rd February, 2002. The main event had Low Ki defeating Christopher Daniels and Daniel Bryan, with Eddie Guerrero, Super Crazy and Brian Kendrick also on the card.

Along with those names, »

John Cena’s Wrestlemania 33 match set up at Elimination Chamber? WWE star returns…

13 February 2017 10:38 PM, PST | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

The Smackdown-branded Elimination Chamber pay-per-view had two huge title changes. Naomi, after nearly eight years in the company, finally added another WWE accomplishment to her Best Dance Moves of the Year 2013 Slammy Award: the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship. And in the Elimination Chamber main event – which had a revamped design with a much more forgiving floor – Bray Wyatt became the new WWE Champion.

I’ve been talking about Bray winning the championship to set up his Wrestlemania 33 title match against Randy Orton since last month – as reported by the Wrestling Observer. But I found myself so drawn into the Chamber match, especially during the final three, there were moments where I started to mentally draft up excuses for being wrong.

But Smackdown did the right thing in the end. Wyatt looked incredibly strong in victory, pinning both Aj and Cena. Orton appeared at the top of the ramp – From Outta Now-well, »
