Michael C. Gross was born on October 4, 1945 in Newburgh, New York, USA as Michael Curtiss Gross. He was a producer and assistant director, known for Ghostbusters (1984), The Real Ghostbusters (1986) and Ghostbusters II (1989). He was married to Glenis Wootton. He died on November 16, 2015 in Oceanside, California, USA.

Former artist and designer for National Lampoon magazine.
Art-designed the "no ghosts" logo for Ghostbusters, based on a concept from Dan Aykroyd's original script.
As a child he created his own fan magazines and made home movies with friends. Unable to decide on a career, he attended Pratt, where he majored in fine art and eventually moved into illustration.
He was an artist, illustrator, film producer and personal designer.
