Joseph Green (I) (1900–1996)

Jewish actor Joseph Green came from Poland in 1924 to New York, and went in 1927 to Hollywood. He popularized the Yiddish movie, showing the life at the Jewisch shtetl in Eastern Europe, in Poland and the USA before WWII. He retired from business after WW II.
