Michael Greer was an actor and comedian. His most famous role was as Queenie, the prison drag queen in Sal Mineo's stage and the Harvey Hart film versions of "Fortune and Men's Eyes" (Fortune and Men's Eyes (1971)), which dealt with sex in prison. Recorded an album called "Tallulah in Heaven" in which he mimics the voice of Tallulah Bankhead as she goes through heaven greeting people and making her customary remarks. Also, did a one-man nightclub act in Provincetown in the early 90s.

Michael's Mona Lisa, aka "Mona the Mouth", evolved over time. Mona started out as a solo character surrounded by a large gilded frame. In the next incarnation, she was flanked by similar sized reproductions of Lawrence's "Pinkie" and Gainsborough's "The Blue Boy". In the final version, he said Mona had moved to Marin, Calfornia, and Michael had replaced the gilded frame with a redwood hot tub.
