Still widely considered one of the most singular of all film stars, Cary Grant will have his turn in the channel's annual, month-long "Summer Under the Stars" festival that showcases one actor's work each day. The lineup includes such Grant staples as "Bringing Up Baby," "Gunga Din," "The Philadelphia Story" and the Alfred Hitchcock-directed "North by Northwest."

The 45 year old part time actress is the product of Grant's marriage to actress Dyan Cannon, which ended in divorce. Unlike many books written by bitter children of Hollywood legends, Jennifer Grant's celebrates her relationship with her father, who she adored. She recalls that Grant retired from acting primarily to be there for her. She remembers the difficulties they had trying to obtain any privacy at all.
