Snowmageddon, Syfy's Christmas movie with Magda Apanowicz and Michael Hogan saving the world, premieres tonight at 9 pm Et.

You can also catch Magda on Robot Chicken tomorrow at 11:30 pm on Adult Swim. She will be voicing Gladys/Mother/Herman's Wife according to the IMDb. And, speaking of Michael Hogan, he will be playing a "lethal werewolf hunter" in the second season of Teen Wolf. TV Guide reported the news earlier this month.

Magnolia Releasing has revealed their latest poster art for the hillbilly and slasher spoof Tucker & Dale vs Evil . This is a comic styled poster from graphic artist Tony Moore. There are no plans for a "Tucker & Dale vs Evil" comic book. However, fans might enjoy this comedic look at the film, which shows Tucker (Alan Tudyk) and Dale (Tyler Labine) fending off a group of mentally deprived college kids (click for bigger).

As well, fans of comic books might recognize Tony Moore from his work on "The Walking Dead" comic book with writer Robert Kirkman. Moore has also worked with Dark Horse Comics, while creating his own series of graphics including "The Exterminators" and "Fear Agent." 'Tucker and Dale vs Evil' is currently enjoying a run on VOD. Its played recently at London's FrightFest and is due to receive a limited theatrical run from 30 September. In celebration it appears that artist Tony Moore has knocked up another little doozy of a poster for the project which was revealed by MTV. Tucker and Dale are played by Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine respectively and they're joined by '30 Rock' hottie supreme Katrina Bowden Jesse Moss, Philip Granger and the gorgeous Chelan Simmons on their hilarious blood-fest. The feature debut from writer-director-producer Derek Franson, Comforting Skin is a supernatural thriller about a lonely young woman whose desperate need for emotional and sexual companionship draws her into a surreal and ultimately destructive relationship with a shifting and whispering tattoo she has willed to life on her skin.

Having shot the film last spring on a budget of $250,000, producers Franson, Justin James and Andrew Webster are now in the final days of completing the film, with just a few effects shots left to complete. The slithering, shifting tattoo character was brought to life through the use of digital animation and compositing techniques, requiring custom code developed by VFX Supervisor Ollie Rankin (The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Matrix Revolutions, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Watchmen, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Red Dawn, J. Edgar).

Getting a tattoo is a big commitment. It has to say something about you and really mean something. It is art that defines you. But what happens when your tattoos take on a life of their own? Comforting Skin, whose trailer just dropped, poses such a question.

Comforting Skin is the debut feature film of writer/director Derek Franson and stars Victoria Bidewell, Tygh Runyan, Jane Sowerby, and Phil Granger.

The story follows Koffie, a lonely young woman whose desperate need for emotional and sexual companionship draws her into a surreal and ultimately destructive relationship with a shifting and whispering tattoo she has willed to life on her skin.
