Ian Somerhalder Talks Marriage Plans (Say What?!) and His Love Life on The Vampire Diaries

21 hours ago | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

Ian Somerhalder "will be" getting married! But wait, before you "Somerhalics" fall to your knees in complete cardiac arrest, please note that there was a crucial follow-up word: "Eventually." Sorry, couldn't resist delivering the news that way, because that's precisely how Ian (inadvertantly) threw me for a loop during our most recent interview, at San Diego Comic-Con. He was there, of course, to promote the upcoming sixth season of The Vampire Diaries, with co-stars Paul Wesley, Nina Dobrev and Kat Graham. While in a silly and yet heated debate about "hate sex"—you had to be there, and you can by clicking on the video above!—Ian referenced that although »

Kat Graham on dying over and over again on 'The Vampire Diaries'

29 July 2014 3:51 PM, PDT | Hitfix | See recent Hitfix news »

San Diego - While a cliff-hanger season finale has fans on the edge of their seats, the cast of "The Vampire Diaries" returned to Comic-Con ahead of the new season. The witchy Bonnie Bennett (Kat Graham) just can't seem to stay dead. Even dying so often, Graham never tires of it. "Each time it happens, it's just done so differently," she said, before jokingly speculating on how Bonnie should die next. But there is one thing Graham isn't keen on doing for the show: doppelgängers.  "Every character would have to have a different hairstyle and a different era of fashion. I'm sure I could do it but I'd be so consumed by it I couldn't do anything else," she said. Watch the full interview with Graham above. "The Vampire Diaries" returns to television on October 2. Editor's Note: In the frenetic blur of Comic-Con, I apologize for the slip up — Twice »

Ian Somerhalder & Kat Graham On Other Side-tvd Teaser

29 July 2014 6:05 AM, PDT | Boomtron | See recent Boomtron news »

The Vampire Diaries is not ready to let go of Ian Somerhalder or Kat Graham just yet. CW just released a new trailer showing the duo in the other side as they leave their “previous life behind”. They of course are not in character and they give hope to fans that perhaps they will be returning this fall. Ian jokes saying Paul Wesley will never let him leave, with a funny clip of Paul asking for a raise. They also pick on Kat. Of course this was all done in good taste in hopes of making fans wonder what will happen to those two. You can catch the fun clip down below.

I got to admit that I am loving the clip. It is cute and fun, while also giving us a piece of hope to hold on to. However, I will say that I am pretty sure both Ian »

#SDCC14: See The Vampire Diaries' Hilarious Comic-Con Video; Info on Season 6 from the Panel

27 July 2014 12:46 PM, PDT | DreadCentral.com | See recent Dread Central news »

The fate of Damon and Bonnie was up in the air following the Season 5 finale of "The Vampire Diaries," and the show's Sdcc panel on Saturday did little to shed any light on what's in store for them in Season 6. They didn't even bring a trailer...

But they did bring this ingenious - and truly funny - video starring Ian Somerhalder and Kat Graham wondering if they've been cut from the series. It features all their cast mates commenting on their predicament, and even Klaus adds his 2 cents.

It was a scaled down panel compared to previous years with just the aforementioned Ian and Kat plus Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, and exec producer Julie Plec, although Matt Davis did pop up in the audience. Digital Spy provided a play-by-play of the presentation, and here are the highlights:

With regard to our two stranded frenemies, Plec said that that anyone who's »

New Vampire Diaries Season 6 Long Spoiler Teaser Clip Served Up By 2014 Comic Con

27 July 2014 12:31 PM, PDT | OnTheFlix | See recent OnTheFlix news »

As previously reported, the Vampire Diaries spoiler panel arrived at the big 2014 Comic Con event in San Diego,CA. And at one point, they served up this new, long season 6 teaser/spoiler clip (below) of sorts that showed a whole big thing about Damon and Bonnie's disappearance. It's quite funny as they turned it into one big joke about Ian Somerhalder and Kat Graham being written off the show. In the new clip, they show the final moments of season 5 where Damon and Bonnie supposedly disappear out of existence. Then it shows them delivering a big joking theme about them being written off the show and contemplating if the rest of the gang will miss them. Then it shows the rest of the casts quickly relishing the fact that they are gone. Elena has already set up shop in Ian's room. Michael Trevino is already wondering if there will be larger storylines for Tyler. »

Inside Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed's Pda-Packed Night Out at Comic-Con

27 July 2014 9:30 AM, PDT | PEOPLE.com | See recent PEOPLE.com news »

Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed have played coy about their budding relationship - until the pair went public with their Pda during a party at Comic-Con on Saturday. After arriving together around midnight at Float Bar inside the Hard Rock Hotel, the Vampire Diaries actor and The Twilight Saga actress held each other's faces and were kissing sweetly and passionately. The new couple later headed to a booth where they hung out with a group of friends. One person they managed to miss running into at the party? Somerhalder's ex-girlfriend, Nina Dobrev, who was spotted dancing with - and briefly »

‘Vampire Diaries’ Boss and Stars Discuss Saying Goodbye to Damon and Bonnie in Season 6 (Video)

Of course, Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) are coming back, right? CW's “Vampire Diaries” boss Julie Plec and the cast aren't telling. Saturday's panel began with a video starting just as the other side was imploding with Bonnie and Damon in it. But, the lights do go back on to reveal the actors on an empty soundstage wondering if they've been written off of the show. Their castmates took a good amount of time surveying what was left behind. Will they get more beefed up parts, bigger paychecks, new and returning characters who'll fill the gaps? Watch the video. »

This Is the Most Hilarious Video About Damon & Bonnie's Fate on The Vampire Diaries

26 July 2014 5:29 PM, PDT | BuzzSugar | See recent BuzzSugar news »

The last season of The Vampire Diaries ended with a massive cliff-hanger, with Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) teetering on the edge of being gone forever. While it's very rare that anyone dies for real on the show, the cast had a little fun with fans at Comic-Con and showed a video that implies the two characters won't return. While Somerhalder and Graham are outraged - Somerhalder: "I even let Paul Wesley direct me!" - the rest of the cast is pretty satisfied. Wesley, Nina Dobrev, Candice Accola (who was not too pleased with Graham eating her turkey club months ago), and the rest of the cast all appear. The only one who is at all upset is The Originals' Joseph Morgan, whom Somerhalder hilariously refers to as "Joe Mo," and that's just because he doesn't want anyone else getting their own spinoff. »

Season 5 of Vampire Diaries ended with Ian Somerhalder’s Damon and Kat Graham’s Bonnie giving into the white light of oblivion. Generally speaking, “giving into the white light of oblivion” might imply that characters will not be returning anytime soon. The Vampire Diaries panel at Comic-Con made light of the characters’ apparent exit, with a video where the actors ponder whether they’ve been written off or granted a spinoff.

However, both Somerhalder and Graham were onstage, along with fellow cast members Nina Dobrev, Matt Davis, and Paul Wesley and Diaries showrunner Julie Plec. The team revealed that season »

The Vampire Diaries Exclusive: Bonnie and Damon's Comic-Con Plea

The sound you just heard was about 4,000 Vampire Diaries fans losing their minds over this perfect video that kicked off the show's panel at the San Diego Comic-Con this afternoon. Featuring Kat Graham and Ian Somerhalder musing over the fate of their characters, Bonnie and Damon, now that they've been sucked into oblivion, the video hits all the right notes and brings up a few good questions. Will we see a bigger storyline for Tyler? Could he be Elena's new guy? What is Alaric gonna do now that he's alive again? And most importantly, are "Bamon" gone for good? (Don't make us laugh!)

Here's the clip, which we're sure those in the San Diego Convention Center's packed Ballroom 20 will want to check out Asap, since there is no way they heard most of the jokes over their room-rattling screams.

'Vampire Diaries' team talks life, death and Season 6 at Comic-Con: Live-Blog

When last we left "The Vampire Diaries," Bonnie and Damon were holding hands and stepping into The Light.  Oh no, right? Well, Ian Somerhalder and Kat Graham are still on the Saturday, July 26 San Diego Comic-Con panel for "The Vampire Diaries," so we somehow suspect they'll be back. Click though and follow along with my live-blog as Julie Plec teases us with hints about the new status quo in Mystic Falls and how long it will last. And we'll get a sense of how fans felt about last year's overdose of dopplegangers and Travelers.  3:50 p.m. The last panel was for NBC's "Grimm" and while it filled the room, there was Zero crowd interest. "Grimm" is a show that probably could have been in 6A or 6Bcf without any problems. It's a Friday success for NBC, but that doesn't mean it's a good Comic-Con show. Apparently. 4:08 p.m. »
