Assheton Gorton was born on July 10, 1930 in Leeds, West Riding, Yorkshire, England as Assheton St. George Gorton. He was a production designer and art director, known for 101 Dalmatians (1996), Shadow of the Vampire (2000) and Legend (1985). He was married to Catherine Gayatri Huggins.
