Is Wonder Woman the Real Star of 'Batman v Superman'?

Earlier this month, reports surfaced that Warner Bros. has already started to screen Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice to a select number of people, and the reactions from those screenings reportedly made the studio very "nervous" about the massive DC Universe the movie sets up. There was speculation that the studio may delay Justice League Part 1, in favor of a Batman Reboot that Ben Affleck would reportedly star in and direct, since the studio was quite pleased with his work in the movie. However, that isn't happening since it was recently confirmed that Justice League Part 1 will start shooting in April. On an episode of the Collider Heroes podcast, Chris Gore revealed that he also knows someone who has seen the movie, revealing that the "stand-out" star is Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman.

With the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice a little under a month away, one of the biggest questions of all still remains unanswered: How large is Wonder Woman’s role in the film? On top of that, many fans have been wondering if Warner Bros. even made the right choice in casting Fast 6 actress Gal Gadot as Diana Prince, considering how most of her acting experience is limited to only a handful of films and TV shows. Well, if a recent episode of Collider Heroes, a superhero talk show, is any indication, DC fans can rest easy because while on the show, guest Chris Gore shared some of good things he has heard about Wonder Woman in the film.

Warner Bros. is shifting gears from the cavalcade of clips and TV spots for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice today to roll out the film’s first, complete featurette.

In partnership with Turkish Airlines, the snippet not only features Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill trumpeting the appeal of Gotham and Metropolis, respectively – most of which we’ve seen before – but director Zack Snyder also gives a brief overview of the superhero dust-off.
