Gordon was 15 when she signed on as a Cover Girl model.

Moved to Paris after living in New York.

Her father Richard is a teacher. Her younger sister is named Katie.

Playing a British TV reporter in Spider-Man 3 (2007), she found early notice as a model while still at an Oxford public school. She went on to become a "Cover Girl" face and moved into acting a few years later.

Left two suicide notes before hanging herself in the Paris flat she shared with her cinematographer boyfriend Jérôme Alméras, who was asleep at the time and discovered her body. Despondent over the suicide of a friend recently, she was two days shy of her 29th birthday.

She was sharing an apartment with boyfriend cinematographer Jérôme Alméras in Paris's 10th arrondissement on the Right Bank of the Seine at the time of her death.
