Sneak Peek at Big Love Season Four!

21 December 2009 3:30 PM, PST | BuzzSugar | See recent BuzzSugar news »

Police arrests! Covert meetings! Chloe Sevigny screaming! After a vague teaser, we're finally getting an in-depth look at the new season of Big Love, and it's a nail-biter. Power and corruption appear to be two big themes, with Bill (Bill Paxton) getting even more ambitious with a run for state Senate. Meanwhile, Margene (Ginnifer Goodwin) is throwing her own weight around with her growing career as a TV shopping channel host, and Nicki is questioning her feelings for Bill. We already heard that Amanda Seyfried is moving on from her role as Bill's eldest, and the preview hints at Sarah's departure - though we don't see much of the other kids. There are also the typical conflicts with the compound, but mostly I'm just curious if we're going to see Bill in handcuffs by the end of this season. Mark your calendar for Jan. 10, but first, check out the juicy video when you read more. »

Amanda Seyfried to Exit Big Love

20 December 2009 8:12 AM, PST | Collider.com | See recent Collider.com news »

January brings us the fourth season of HBO’s Big Love, but it may be the last to feature cast member Amanda Seyfried on a regular basis according to TV Guide. Seyfried plays the eldest of eight children of a polygamist family in suburban Utah, and will be written off the show in the eighth episode of the season.

The show’s creator, Will Scheffer, had this to say, “She’s been exploring her movie career for a couple of years now, and we’ve been giving her a lot of room to do that. I know having a commitment to a show for six months definitely cuts into her ability to pursue that career.” Just so there’s no confusion, Scheffer continues, “She’s moving away”. Hit the jump for what effect this may have on the show.

Every day a multitude of stars wanders through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with our intrepid correspondents. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.

Anybody who watched any video on this site in the past few months was probably treated to Zooey Deschanel's rendition of "Fabric of My Life," a deceptively catchy jingle that appeared in advertisements for Cotton Incorporated. (Miranda Lambert and Jazmine Sullivan also recorded their own versions of the same tune for the same campaign.) Deschanel stepped out on Saturday night (December 12) with sister Emily and husband Ben Gibbard (of Death Cab for Cutie) for a benefit party for the Humane Society. The fete, co-hosted at a private residence in Los Angeles by Cotton Incorporated and Vanity Fair magazine, also featured appearances by »
