The CW has released official series synopses for the upcoming seasons of its returning DC TV shows Supergirl, The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Arrow, although they offer very little in the way of new info, and are mainly just recaps of the stories so far. Still, you can find them below, and click here for the trailer and synopsis for the network’s newest DC addition Black Lightning

Supergirl is an action-adventure drama based on the DC character Kara Zor-El, (Melissa Benoist) Superman’s (Kal-El) cousin who, after 12 years of keeping her powers a secret on Earth, decides to finally embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be. Twelve-year-old Kara escaped the doomed planet Krypton with her parents’ help at the same time as the infant Kal-El. Protected and raised on Earth by her foster family, the Danvers, Kara grew up »

The CW Releases Synopses For Fall Seasons Of Supergirl, Legends, The Flash, & Arrow!

18 May 2017 5:12 PM, PDT | LRMonline.com | See recent LRM Online news »

This season of TV has been a busy on one the CW — especially if you’re into their DC fare. With Supergirl finally joining the network in an official capacity, they had four hours of superhero programming each week. With the addition of Black Lightning, next season will bring us five superhero shows — a huge achievement for any network, really.

This coming fall will, of course, see the return of all four other shows, and with the current seasons finally wrapping up, CW has released synopses for each one of them. While the network has always been really good about keeping big spoilers out of the synopses, at the very least, you can get a glimpse of where the momentum for each show is going.

Have a look at the synopses below!

New Synopses For Arrow, The Flash And Legends of Tomorrow Tease Upcoming Seasons

18 May 2017 1:06 PM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

We haven’t even seen the season finales for the current run of The CW’s DC TV shows yet (well, at least not for 3 of the 4), but the network has already released some synopses for the 2017/2018 season. Though it’s obviously early days and they don’t reveal a whole lot, we can still pick out some interesting new details from what’s been provided.

First, The Flash

Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) lived a normal life as a perpetually tardy C.S.I. in the Central City Police Department. Barry’s life changed forever when the S.T.A.R. Labs Particle Accelerator exploded, creating a dark-matter lightning storm that struck Barry, bestowing him with super-speed and making him the fastest man alive — The Flash. But when Barry used his extraordinary abilities to travel back in time and save his mother’s life, he inadvertently created an alternate timeline known »

Prometheus Is Two Steps Ahead In New Arrow Featurette

17 May 2017 10:21 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

With just hours to go until this season’s penultimate episode of Arrow graces our television screens, a new featurette has surfaced that provides a deeper look into the final phases of Prometheus’ deadly game.

In it, executive producer Wendy Mericle takes us on a guided tour of this particular installment and, without spoiling too much, lets us know that Adrian Chase has no intention of lying down now that he’s in Argus’s custody. In fact, he has contingencies in place, but would you expect anything less from a guy who always has his eyes on the prize?

As it turns out, his allies are picking off members of Team Arrow one by one, putting Oliver in a desperate situation. Sure, some fisticuffs may ensue, but we’re assuming most of that’ll be saved for next week’s season finale. In the meantime, it looks like Oliver »

Team Arrow Members Go “Missing” In Extended Promo

11 May 2017 10:34 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Last night on Arrow, Prometheus decided to continue his multifaceted assault on Oliver Queen, this time dragging his foe’s father’s name through the mud. But after capably weathering the storm, our hero was finally able to score a victory over Adrian Chase, with the big bad now being in Argus lockup.

Still, nobody should be shocked that a big picture kind of guy like Chase had contingencies in place, and is now picking off members of Team Arrow one by one – with a little help, of course. Although the trailer keeps its cards a little close to its vest in that regard, we do see a disguised woman who may very well be Talia al Ghul taking part in the action.

As for Chase’s other “friends,” it comes as a surprise that Black Siren didn’t appear in the promo as she’d no doubt draw more than a few viewers. »

While the ongoing situation involving Deathstroke’s return continues to confound us, let’s turn our attention toward some news that’s a little more positive. Quite frankly, if the knowledge that Juliana Harkavy and Rick Gonzalez have been confirmed as series regulars for Arrow season 6 doesn’t brighten your day ever so slightly, I’m not sure what will.

Something that many viewers have been able to agree on is that this show has been on an upswing this year, effectively becoming the strongest offering since that of season 2. Although many factors likely contributed to the revitalization, some credit could be given to what’s been dubbed “Team Arrow 2.0” by the online community and, without a doubt, two of the most invaluable additions have been that of Wild Dog and Dinah Lance, each played by the aforementioned promoted actors. »

Arrow Season 6: Who Will Be a Series Regular?

Are you enjoying the addition of Rene and Dinah on Arrow Season 5?

If yes, then we have some news that will be sure to make you happy: Both characters will be sticking around for Arrow Season 6.

According to TV Line, Rick Gonzalez and Juliana Harkavy have been granted series regular status for the upcoming season.

Rick first appeared at the beginning of Arrow Season 5, and has appeared in more episodes this season than fellow series regular, Willa Holland, so most of you probably already thought he was a regular.

Joining Team Arrow as Wild Dog, the character had a rough beginning when he flat-out refused to follow any orders, and it resulted in the team getting into a lot of tough situations.

Thankfully, the character emerged as one of the best on the show after some initial teething problems. A flashback-heavy episode helped fans see the character in a new »
