Former Marvel Director Would Cast Jon Hamm As Batman

Steven S. DeKnight. You may know the name, as he’s certainly had a fair bit of experience in the superhero genre. Most notably, he was showrunner on Daredevil for a while (and even directed an episode, too) and also had a producing role on Smallville, among other projects. Not to mention should his upcoming blockbuster Pacific Rim: Uprising prove to be a hit, you can bet that he’ll find himself as a hot commodity in Hollywood.

Could he eventually wind up with his hands on a DC property, though? It’s certainly possible with the way his career is going, and if he were to be put in charge of Batman, he has the perfect actor in mind to play the part: Jon Hamm. That’s right, when asked on Twitter by a fan who he’d cast as the Dark Knight, he named the former Mad Men star,

First Trailer drops for “Ant-Man and the Wasp”

Yesterday, Marvel was not just basking in the glow of some rave early reviews for Black Panther. They were also laying the groundwork for another of their impending 2018 releases, as a Trailer dropped for Ant-Man and the Wasp. A sequel to their initially troubled production Ant-Man, this should build on the comedic caper and continue to showcase another side to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With only a few months to go before Avengers: Infinity War unveils itself to us, it sure seems like the McU is in strong shape. More on Black Panther early next month, but today, we’re going to talk Ant-Man and the Wasp. You can see the Trailer at the end of this piece, as per the usual… The film is, obviously, a sequel to Ant-Man. Even with a Trailer, not much of the plot is known, so here is the IMDb synopsis to start with:

New Ant-Man And The Wasp Set Photos Might Reveal The Ghost’s Scheme

Yesterday saw the arrival of the first trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp. Amongst other things – like some juicy tie-ins to Captain America: Civil War – it gave us a glimpse at the masked villain the Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), who it seems engages in a car chase with the titular insectoid Avengers in the movie. But what was the point of this high-octane sequence?

Well, these new set photos may well provide the answer. The two images show the Ghost holding onto what looks very much like the shrunken Pym Technologies building. You’ll remember that the trailer saw Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) shrink the skyscraper to a convenient travel-ready size as he went on the run, after Scott Lang had exposed his secrets to the world following his joining Team Cap.

First Look at Ant-Man 2 Villain: Who Is the Ghost?

Marvel Studios released the first trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp, and if you blinked or had to sneeze at the 55-second mark, you would have missed the first official look at Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), although there were set photos that surfaced in September teasing a street fight between Ghost and Wasp (Evangeline Lilly). Unfortunately, that one brief shot was all we saw. But just the casting of Hannah John-Kamen alone indicated that Marvel Studios was planning some pretty big changes from the character's comic book origins, largely since Ghost from the comics is a man.

Ghost was created by David Michelinie and Bob Layton, making his debut in Iron Man #219 in June 1987. The character was first developed as a supervillain, who was later developed into an anti-hero character. While very little is known about Ghost's origins in the Marvel Comics, before his turn to villainy, he worked as a

Cheeky Poster And Trailer Screenshots For Ant-Man And The Wasp Surface

Ant-Man? Check. Evangeline Lilly’s Hope van Dyne in her battle gear? You betcha’. A giant Hello Kitty Pez dispenser being hurled out of a van? It can only be the first teaser trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp, which appears to be just as weird and wonderful as its cinematic predecessor.

Set soon after the events of Civil War – not unlike Marvel’s Black PantherPeyton Reed’s pint-sized sequel is all about Ant-Man and the Wasp as they journey into the Quantum Realm in search of Janet Van Dyne, Michelle Pfeiffer’s long-lost protagonist who went sub-atomic to intercept an intercontinental ballistic missile during the height of the Cold War, never to be seen again.

But all is not lost, as Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope, now wanted fugitives, enlist the help of Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), whose mind-bending technology is capable of transforming a skyscraper into

Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym also returns for the sequel, which picks up after the events of 2016’s “Captain America: Civil War” and finds the trio on the run.

Marvel official dropped the Ant-Man and the Wasp trailer this morning. And along with it, they delivered a couple of new images and the first official poster. But she assures Scott that they would have never been caught. This is followed by the big reveal that Scott is now under house arrest, and that Hope and her father Hank Pym have gone on the run.
