Gorgeous New Ant-Man And The Wasp Posters Fly Online

Of the 2018 slate of McU movies, Ant-Man and the Wasp is receiving comparatively little attention to its companions. This isn’t really surprising, though, as Black Panther explores a fresh and exciting corner of the McU and properly introduces us to Chadwick Boseman’s cool-as-hell looking hero, and Avengers: Infinity War is the culmination of nearly ten years of interlinked storytelling and looks to be the most maximalist superhero jamboree of all-time.

By comparison, the Ant-Man sequel follows on from one of Marvel Studios’ lowest grossing movies and right now, it’s difficult to tell what the film’s unique selling point will be. That being said, there are still many reasons to be excited for the project, one of which is seeing the titular double act working together. In fact, speaking in a recent interview, Paul Rudd touched on that exact thing, emphasizing that Ant-Man and the Wasp are

Lara Croft's Adventure Begins in Two New Tomb Raider TV Spots

During the Afc and Nfc Championship Games yesterday, Warner Bros. debuted two new TV spots for the highly-anticipated Tomb Raider, which hits theaters nationwide on March 16. These TV spots showcase the origin adventure undertaken by a young Lara Croft, played by Oscar winner Alicia Vikander, with footage highlighting her meeting with the villain Mathias Vogel (Walton Goggins). He claims to see several distinct qualities of her missing father in Lara herself, such as his intelligence and recklessness. One video also includes a scene where Lara admits that she's not a "superhero," although some of her death-defying actions say otherwise.

While this video game franchise has been around since 1996, this movie will be based on the video game reboot that launched in 2013, and followed a much younger Lara Croft as she goes on her first ever adventure, to find her missing father, who has been gone since she was a teenager.

New ‘Tomb Raider’ Trailer Has Lara Going Full Croft

Warner Brothers has released the a new trailer for ‘Tomb Raider‘. Based on the best-selling series of video games with the same name, the film follows Lara Croft (Alicia Vikander) as she attempts to uncover the mysterious disappearance of her father.

It’s Dominic West‘s Richard Croft that seems to be both the focus of the plot, but the trailer itself. The trailer showcases more of the action, which seems to be in line with what we’ve seen in the more recent video games, and less like the stylized action of the first stab at the franchise with ‘Lara Croft: Tomb Raider‘. And then there’s Walton Goggins, who by my estimation, is probably the best thing that the movie has going for it. Hopefully this film will finally be able to break the curse of lackluster video game adaptations, but only time will tell.

Here’s the

Lara Croft Defies Death in New ‘Tomb Raider’ Trailer

Lara Croft Defies Death in New ‘Tomb Raider’ Trailer
A new “Tomb Raider” trailer released Thursday offers a further look at Alicia Vikander’s Lara Croft and her dangerous adventure for answers about her father’s death.

Upon arrival at a mysterious island — his last-known location — she encounters a man, played by Walton Goggins, who says he was taken there by Croft’s father seven years ago. “Now I see the likeness, the intelligence, the recklessness,” he says in the trailer.

Croft also learns of Trinity, a dark organization that’s “looking to start a global genocide,” which her father tells her in a recording she must stop. A rendition of Destiny’s Child’s “Survivor” plays in the clip as Croft defies death to become the Tomb Raider.

The film, directed by Roar Uthaug and co-starring Daniel Wu and Dominic West, is adapted from the popular “Tomb Raider” video game. Angelina Jolie held the role of Lara Croft in 2001’s “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” and 2003’s

Alicia Vikander Holds on For Dear Life in the New Tomb Raider Trailer

If you were worried about Alicia Vikander being able to fill Angelina Jolie's cargo pants in the Tomb Raider reboot, worry no more. In the new look at the 28-year-old Oscar winner as the titular raider of tombs, Lara Croft, Vikander seems to be holding her own as she dives off cliffs, dramatically slides under razor-sharp booby traps, and effortlessly completes other death-defying acts. While that might be the same song and dance we got with Jolie in the first two films, Lara's backstory is getting an update. The action film, which isn't due out until March 16, sees Lara as a 21-year-old, fiercely independent bike courier living in London on her own seven years after the disappearance of her eccentric adventurer father (Dominic West). She sets out to solve the mystery of his death, which involves a dangerous journey to a mythical tomb somewhere off the coast of Japan.

Movie Review – Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018)

Maze Runner: The Death Cure, 2018.

Directed by Wes Ball.

Starring Dylan O’Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Aidan Gillen, Will Poulter, Rosa Salazar, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Giancarlo Esposito, Ki Hong Lee, Katherine McNamara, Walton Goggins, Nathalie Emmanuel, Barry Pepper, Jacob Lofland, Dexter Darden, Paul Lazenby, and Patricia Clarkson.

Synopsis:

Young hero Thomas embarks on a mission to find a cure for a deadly disease known as the “Flare”.

The Maze Runner has always been a disposable run-of-the-mill young adult dystopian franchise, but that sentiment truly got put to the test as I watched its trilogy capper The Death Cure as fairly as I watch and review every other new release. I took a glance at my reviews of previous entries before heading to the screening, which is usually enough to jog my memory. Rarely do I ever rewatch past films to prepare; quite honestly, I have a terrific recollection of past events and often find it unnecessary,
