Curt Goetz was born on November 17, 1888 in Mainz, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany as Kurt Walter Götz. He was a writer and actor, known for The House in Montevideo (1963), People Will Talk (1951) and Hocuspocus (1953). He was married to Valerie von Martens and Erna Nitter.
