DC Assembles The Justice League

The wait is almost over, as Warner Bros. has announced that the trailer for Justice League is set to arrive online this Saturday, and to whet our appetites the studio is releasing a series of character posters and teasers, beginning with Aquaman, Batman and The Flash. Expect Wonder Woman and Cyborg later today.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Character Posters

Not to let DC steal all the headlines, Marvel has unveiled a series of character posters for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, with James Gunn sharing a poster for Kurt Russell’s Ego [see here], which was followed by one-sheets for Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Groot (Vin Diesel), Rocket (Bradley Cooper), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax (Dave Bautista), Mantis (Pom Klementieff) and Nebula (Karen Gillan), along with the villainous Ayesha (Elizabeth Debicki). Showtime’s Twin Peaks Revival to Premiere on Sunday, May 21st

Showtime has damn fine news for David Lynch fans, as the network has announced that the Twin Peaks revival will premiere on Monday, May 21st at 9:00pm, with additional details unveiled about the show's total runtime and structure.

The premiere date was announced at the Television Critics Association (TCA) press tour and revealed on the official Twin Peaks Facebook page. According to TVLine, the premiere will be two hours long and begin on May 21st at 9:00pm Et.

TVLine also reports that at the TCA press tour, Showtime president and CEO David Nevins revealed that the revival consists of 18 total hours and is "the pure-heroin version of David Lynch." Nevins also mentioned that the revival is “about Agent Cooper’s odyssey back to Twin Peaks" and is "designed to be a closed-ended, one-time event.”

It’s been more than two years since the “Twin Peaks” revival miniseries was announced, and this year marks its grand debut. During Showtime’s Television Critics Association panel, Showtime President and CEO David Nevins announced the official release date for the network’s much-anticipated series: May 21.

The 18-hour limited event series will debut with a two-hour premiere on Sunday, May 21 at 9 p.m. Immediately following the premiere, Showtime subscribers will have access to the third and fourth hours, exclusively across the Showtime streaming service and Showtime On Demand. In its second week, “Twin Peaks” will air the third and fourth hours back-to-back on the linear network, starting at 9 p.m., followed by one-hour episodes in subsequent weeks.
