He has directed the most number of James Bond movies totaling five. These are (in order) For Your Eyes Only (1981), Octopussy (1983), A View to a Kill (1985), The Living Daylights (1987) and Licence to Kill (1989).

The foreword of his autobiography, "For My Eyes Only: My Life with James Bond" (2001), was written by Roger Moore, who played James Bond in 3 of the 5 Bond movies directed by Glen.
