Other Works:

(1921) Made the first translation of Ferenc Molnar's 1909 Hungarian play "Liliom" into English. His translation of the play was used by Oscar Hammerstein II as the basis for Hammerstein's libretto for the musical "Carousel", which he wrote with Richard Rodgers.
