Ali Ghito was born on January 11, 1905 in Zeulsdorf, Gera, Germany as Adelheid Schlag. She was an actress, known for Der Schimmelreiter (1934), Acht Mädels im Boot (1932) and Wege zur guten Ehe (1933). She was married to Hans Habe. She died on April 29, 1983 in Taos, New Mexico, USA.

In the 1940s, she was married to the director of the Dresdner Bank Schmidt - Barden.
She married an architect (Schlag) as a very young woman and her daughter was born in 1926.

When she got married with the writer Hans Habe in 1946 it was already her third marriage. But this marriage failed too when Habe began an affair with the actress Eloise Hardt. Because Habe got divorced in Mexico in 1948 which was without legal capacity and got married with Hardt immediately afterwards, Ali Ghito accused him of bigamy. The scandal was also printed in the magazine "Stern".
Ali Ghito worked as a painter , a language teacher( for German ) and editor in New Mexico .
After the war she retired from the film business.
According to a newspaper report of the Taos News from July 7, 1966 Ali Ghito was brought to the American radio and used as a speaker in the " psychological warfare " in the war on behalf of the US headquarters of General Eisenhower in Europe .
During World War II she was also active as a nurse.
The actress Ali Ghito was born as Adelheid Schnabel-Fürbringer in Zeulsdorf. She got an acting education and singing lessons as well. Beside it she also studied medicine and psychology.
