Good news for fans of Lucifer, as Fox has announced today that it has renewed the hit comic book adaptation for a third season of 22 episodes, which will get underway in the fall.

Lucifer is one of those rare shows that starts strong out of the gate, and just keeps getting better and better,” said David Madden, President of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company. “Tom, Lauren and the entire cast have really made these characters three-dimensional, and the production team – Jerry, Len, Jonathan, Joe and Ildy – is one of the best in the business. We’d also like to thank our partners Warner Bros. for their commitment to this show and we look forward to seeing where this wildly innovative series takes us in Season Three.”

The season 3 order is for 22 episodes. Lucifer debuted in January 2016 as a midseason show with a 13-episode run. Season 2 - which is currently on its midseason break - was the first run of the show to have an extended order of 22 episodes.

The Lucifer season 3 renewal is only the second of the year for Fox (Empire season 4 was previously confirmed, and The Simpsons and Bob’s Burger had contracts in place). It may come as a surprise, but the show is outperforming its hyped and heavily promoted lead-in Gotham. Lucifer is averaging 3.8 million viewers, »

Mandy Moore and Shane West Talking About A Walk to Remember Is Too Much For Us

25 January 2017 3:45 PM, PST | POPSUGAR | See recent BuzzSugar news »

Image Source: Everett Collection Jan. 25 marked 15 years since the release of A Walk to Remember, Nicholas Sparks's weepy tale of young romance. While we're still crying over the most memorably sad moments, stars Mandy Moore and Shane West have moved on - but that doesn't mean they don't also appreciate the movie. Moore, who was 17 years old (!) when the movie premiered, and West sat down with Entertainment Weekly to reflect on the film, and they dropped some feelings and knowledge that we were not prepared for. Here are the highlights! Mandy Moore may or may not have been actually in love with Shane West. "Shane was so cool. Everything about him – the way he dressed, the little cigarettes that he smoked, and the music he listened to. He was the character to me and there was definitely a part of me that absolutely fell in love with him. I »

Mandy Moore and Shane West Look Back on A Walk to Remember 15 Years Later

25 January 2017 1:08 PM, PST | PEOPLE.com | See recent PEOPLE.com news »

This story originally appeared on EW.com.

Fifteen years ago Wednesday, on January 25, 2002, the adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ novel A Walk To Remember strolled into movie theaters across the country. Starring sweet-as-candy teen pop star Mandy Moore and rising TV and film actor Shane West, the movie was an early entry in a long line of Sparks’ book-to-movie adaptations.

These romances follow a reasonably simple formula: take a heart-wrenching premise, add in some beautiful people and a stunning North Carolina-esque backdrop, be sure to incorporate some inspirational action that overcomes all adversity, and you are on the road to a Sparks success. »

Lucifer: Why A Show About the Devil Deserves a Season Three and More

25 January 2017 12:47 PM, PST | TVovermind.com | See recent TVovermind.com news »

When I first heard about Lucifer, I got all “judge a book by its’ cover” on it. I figured that a show about the Devil leaving Hell behind to take a vacation in Los Angeles would not be the kind of show that I would watch (or cover for this site). After watching the first season and the current second season, however, it would seem that I was wrong.  Tom Ellis’s portrayal of Lucifer Morningstar is nothing short of amusing (though there were times where I would roll my eyes or facepalm at some of his lines).
