NBC's new drama "Chicago Fire" introduces us to the crew at a Windy City firehouse a month after they lost one of their own. The wounds have apparently not healed.
"House's" Jesse Spencer and Taylor Kinney of "The Vampire Diaries" play lieutenants in charge of the engine crew and the rescue squad, and they each blame the other for their colleague's death. Their conflict threatens to destroy the house's camaraderie, but we have a feeling they'll put their differences aside when lives are on the line again.
(Note to Kinney fans: "Chicago Fire's" producers, including "Law & Order" creator Dick Wolf, seem to get part of his appeal. He's frequently shirtless in the trailer.)
The series also stars Monica Raymund ("Lie to Me"), Lauren German ("Hawaii Five-0"), Charlie Barnett, Eamonn Walker ("Oz"), David Eigenberg ("Sex and the City"), Merle Dandridge ("Sons of Anarchy") and Teri Reeves. It will air on Wednesday nights in the fall. »

Now that NBC's 2012-2013 lineup and schedule is set, the network has released trailers for some of its upcoming new series.
From a (presumably failed) adoption attempt in the trailer for Ryan Murphy's "The New Normal" to Matthew Perry's character's effort to have everyone in his grief group to share their sob stories in five seconds in "Go On," each trailer hints that the 2012-2013 will be a unique season for NBC.
Check out the trailers for "Go On," "The New Normal" and more below:
"Go On" Misery loves company. Unless you're sportscaster Ryan King (Matthew Perry) who thinks misery should just be left alone. After taking some time off, Ryan –- who recently lost his wife in a car accident -– is now ready to get back to work. And while he seems like his same old charming, cocky self, his boss won't set him back on »

Dick Wolf, the man who brought "Law & Order" and ratings to NBC back in the 1990s is coming back to NBC. This time with "Chicago Fire," which pits "House's" Jesse Spencer against Lady Gaga's on-again/off-again boyfriend ("The Vampire Diaries'" Taylor Kinney) in a Chicago-set firehouse drama.
Also starring are Eamonn Walker ("The Messenger"), Charlie Barnett ("Law & Order: Svu"), David Eigenberg ("Sex and the City"), Monica Raymund ("The Good Wife"), Lauren German ("Hawaii Five-o"), Teri Reeves ("Three Rivers") and Merle Dandridge ("Sons of Anarchy").
In the clip above, Spencer and Kinney butt heads over the loss of one of their team members -- they blame each other.
But Walker steps in with a little sage advice: "We all lost Artie -- a month ago Friday. And that ain't changing. So maybe we should."

In advance of their official Upfronts presentation on Monday, NBC jumped the gun to be the first network to unveil their complete 2012-2013 schedule on Sunday.
The biggest story? "Community" is moving to Fridays, along with sophomore sitcom "Whitney," which will kick off that rather random new night of programming.
"Smash" is also being bumped -- all the way to midseason -- to make way for the premiere of "Revolution," a new thriller from J.J. Abrams and Eric Kripke, which will air after "The Voice" on Mondays. And yes, that means "The Voice" will be back in the fall, giving it two cycles a year, as predicted.
NBC will also try their hand at airing comedies on Tuesday nights, with Matthew Perry's "Go On" and Ryan Murphy's "Th New Normal" getting paired together.
Also being saved for midseason are new sitcoms "Save Me," "1600 Penn" and "Next Caller," and new dramas "Do No Harm, »

Chicago – NBC revealed their Fall schedule today and there were multiple surprises including comedies moving to Tuesday and Friday nights (we were wondering where all of the sitcoms would go) and a Fall cycle of the hit singing show “The Voice.” Other major news is that “Smash” is being held for mid-season. The network also revealed that six new shows — two dramas, four comedies — will premiere in the Fall.
The big news for comedy fans is that Thursdays have been tinkered with again as the final season of “30 Rock” will kick off the night at 7pm Cst, followed by “Up All Night,” “The Office,” and “Parks and Recreation.” In the 9pm Cst timeslot that was the kiss of death last season with “Prime Suspect,” “The Firm,” and “Awake,” the network has given up and will air the low-rated but inexpensive “Rock Center with Brian Williams.”

"Law & Order: Svu" will return for a 14th season in the fall, and its creator, Dick Wolf, will also have a new show on the network, "Chicago Fire."
"Svu" star Ice-t and showrunner Warren Leight tweeted about their show's renewal Wednesday (May 9). The pickup was expected after Mariska Hargitay signed a new contract in April.
"Svu" has suffered some ratings declines this season. It's averaging 7.6 million viewers and a 2.3 rating among adults 18-49, down about 15 percent from 2010-11. Among NBC's dramas this season, though, only "Smash" (3.3) and "Parenthood" (2.6) have better 18-49 numbers. With the network expected to do a pretty heavy overhaul for next season, having a little stability could be a good thing.
Wolf is also executive producing "Chicago Fire," a drama from writers Michael Brandt and Derek Haas ("3:10 to Yuma," "Wanted") about firefighters in the Windy City. It stars Taylor Kinney ("The Vampire Diaries"), Jesse Spencer ("House »

Good news for fans of the long-running legacy of Dick Wolf, the mad who has brought us countess episodes of crime drama, mostly through various Law & Order series. NBC has given a fourteenth season order to Law & Order: Svu, which means we'll get plenty more crime drama with big name guest stars (easily the best part of the series) committing violent crimes across the board. In addition, for those who may not be fans of justice in the form of Law & Order, there's a new series coming from Wolf which you can read more about after the jump. Per Deadline, NBC has apparently also made a series order for Chicago Fire, a firefighter drama exploring the complex and heroic men and women of the Chicago Fire Department. It may not be the most original idea on TV as various series have dealt with almost all the emergency response professions, but coming from Dick Wolf, »

"Law & Order: Svu" has been renewed. The Dick Wolf series will keep the "Law & Order" franchise alive for an impressive 14th season. NBC has also handed out a series order to Wolf's "Chicago Fire."
An "Svu" renewal seemed likely after series star Mariska Hargitay renewed her contract.
"I'll be back. I can't leave this show," Hargitay said in January. "I'm having too much fun."
The series went through a sort of rebirth during Season 13. Christopher Meloni left the series after Season 12 and longtime showrunner Neal Baer left the show, with Warren Leight taking the reins. Kelli Giddish and Danny Pino joined the cast as two new detectives and the show began to explore the personal life of Hargitay's character Detective Olivia Benson. Hargitay has been with the series since its debut in 1999.
Giddish recently told HuffPost TV she'd like to return for Season 14.
