‘Once Upon A Time’ Season 2, Episode 11: Good to Be Bad

  • Screen Rant
This episode of Once Upon A Time is titled “The Outsider,” but really that title should be plural as it deals with so many of this show’s fringe characters. Special treatment is given to the back-stories of Mulan (Jamie Chung) and Belle (Emilie de Ravin) rather than Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison), as is usually the case. And the prince of the week is Philip (Julian Morris) rather than Charming (Josh Dallas).

The dark-side story, meanwhile, belongs not to Cora (Barbara Hershey) or Regina (Lana Parilla), but rather to Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) and Rumple (Robert Carlyle).

Smee (Chris Gauthier) also comes out to play this time around and is the first of the Storybrooke residents to cross the line at the town’s border and not suffer a painful death ...

'Eureka' series finale postmortem with showrunner Jaime Paglia: We made it 'a celebration instead of a funeral'

"Eureka" ended its five-season, seven-year run on Syfy with a poignant and satisfying series finale...that almost never happened.

In the wake of the its abrupt cancellation, it seemed "Eureka" would be forced to bow out with a cliffhanger -- until Syfy granted showrunner Jaime Paglia's request for one more episode.

With one caveat: The "Eureka" crew had one week -- instead of the usual two months -- to write it. "We broke the story in two days, I wrote it in three days over the weekend, and then we had three days to prep it," Paglia revealed to Zap2it.

At the time, he said, "I told everybody, 'Let's try to look at the positive side of this: We were given a chance by the network and studio to wrap this up on our terms. So let's go into this last episode as positively as we can and

'Eureka' series finale - 'Just Another Day': 'The strong force holds it all together'

"Eureka" showrunner Jaime Paglia calls his series finale, "Just Another Day," a "love letter to fans." So did you feel the love?

We sure did -- especially if you are measuring by tears and goosebumps.

Maybe the best line of the evening came from amnesiac Holly (Felicia Day), who perfectly captured what Sheriff Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson) means to the little town of Eureka:

"Oh! I remember now. You guys are smart, but the sheriff is the strong force -- he holds it all together."

In his last heroic act of the series, Carter dove through a wormhole to save the town. As he traveled through that space-time anomaly, we saw snippets of important characters (Stark, argh!) and pivotal scenes -- including season one's alternate timeline in which Allison was his wife and pregnant with their child.

After he saved Eureka for the gazillionth time, that happy reality finally

B-Movie Triple Feature Review: Metal Shifters, Ice Quake, Camel Spiders

  • DailyDead
We’ve all been told not to judge something by it’s cover. However, when you see a title like Metal Shifters, Camel Spiders, or Ice Quake, you should probably have an inkling that you’re about to watch a B movie. For the B-lovers out there, these three titles pack some ridiculous moments that are sure to entertain.

Metal Shifters:

Just when you thought there weren’t enough movies about Idaho, Paul Ziller brings B-movie lovers a little gem called Metal Shifters. Having enjoyed an array of farfetched Syfy movies, I can usually take any plot line with a grain of salt. However, with this film, I found myself pondering some simple, moral questions. My biggest quandary stems from the premise of the movie: if a strange, metal object plummeted from the sky, would your first thought be “I wonder how much I could sell that for?” Probably not.

Aaron Mk: Sanctuary is coming to its fourth season – can you tell our fans a little bit about the season premiere, and what they can look forward to this season?

Amanda Tapping: Well the season premiere, again, takes place in Victorian era England. It’s almost a direct cut from how we ended Season 3.
