- Arne Garvang was born on May 11, 1949 in Oslo, Norway. He was a composer and actor, known for Det andre skiftet (1978), Serum serum (1980) and The Regulars (2017). He was married to Marianne Krogness. He died on June 22, 2017 in Oslo, Norway.

- Started out as a leading member of the popular Norwegian song and theatre group Tramteatret in the 1970's. After the group broke up in the 1980's he continued his career in the music industry, before in the 1990's emerging as highly successful author with his book "Muffe tar saken", a mix between comedy and the growing pains of puberty. Published in 1993, it was mainly targeted at kids and teenagers but also struck a chord with adults, it won several awards and was translated into several languages. He published other books before finally, in 2005 releasing the long awaited sequel, "Muffe 2 - og bakom synger hverdagen".
