Mark Gantt is best known for co-creating, co-writing and starring in The Bannen Way for Crackle and Sony Pictures. The Streamy Award winning Bannen Way included Academy Award nominees Robert Forster and Michael Lerner.
Mark, a twenty-year veteran, is a multi-hyphenate who learned the business from the ground up, and has had the good fortune of collaborating with many top directors, including Steven Soderbergh, David O. Russell, Sam Raimi, and Robert Rodriguez.
As a director, Gantt's style is firmly rooted in his skills as a photographer as well as his work as an actor and an acting coach. His feature directorial debut, Murder In Mexico: The Bruce Beresford-Redman Story, starring Colin Egglesfield, premiered on Lifetime in 2015. He recently directed a pilot for Ron Howard and Brian Grazer's New Form Digital called Intricate Vengeance, as well as Seamlessly She, a branded series for GMC and AOL. He's also directed several award-winning shorts, branded digital series, and commercials for Nissan and ESPN.
As an actor, Mark's television credits include series regular on Canadian series Bluff, recurring on The Arrangement and guest spots on American Horror Story, Major Crimes, Dexter, The Shield and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. His feature credits include Ocean's Eleven, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Psychophonia, The Hollywood Sign, and Hidden in the Woods.
In 2013, Mark began teaching acting at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and started Give & Take Productions, a film and television production company with his wife, actress/director Brianne Davis.
