Character actor with a lengthy theatrical background in musicals and comedies. He toured in the Woody Allen role in "Play It Again, Sam" and as Nathan Detroit in "Guys And Dolls." He also created and produced a series of country music specials for Showtime and wrote the Legends of the West (1992) specials with Jack Palance, winning a Wrangler Award from the Cowboy Hall of Fame in the process. He is currently National Entertainment Reporter with Metro Networks and Westwood One, but continues acting as well.

Roger has performed multiple times over the years using his improvisational skills in Los Angeles and New York.
Roger was the first radio personality to get deliberately intoxicated on the radio on Memorial Day Weekend to show the effects of drinking on the system (WCAW, 1966 and again with Shadoe Stevens in 1968 at KIKX.).
Roger has a lengthy background on the radio as a newscaster (WCAW, KTKT, KIMN, KRLA, KNTR) and has produced and acted in dramatic radio productions of War of the Worlds and It's A Wonderful Life.
