The witches of Disney’s 1993 cult comedy “Hocus Pocus” are making a much-deserved comeback, but don’t expect to see them on screen just yet. "Boy Meets World" fans who've been keeping up with spinoff series "Girl Meets World" are in for a treat: Original "Boy" cast members William Daniels and Will Friedle are set to appear on the show's upcoming second season.
That's right, Mr. Feeny and Eric Matthews will be stopping by the series to impart some wisdom and provide some comic relief, respectively. This will be Daniels's second appearance on the Disney Channel show, while Friedle is making his series debut.
First up is Feeny, who's featured in the season two premiere on May 11, which revolves around Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) meeting a new teacher. He'll also star in the May 14 episode, which will also feature the return of Shawn (Rider Strong), who joins Cory (Ben Savage), Topanga (Danielle Fishel), and the girls for a road trip to Philadelphia to dig up a time capsule.

Fresh off last month’s big date-themed finale, the Girl Meets World crew is already plotting its return for Season 2 — and it’s sooner than you might think.
The premiere, titled “Girl Meets Gravity,” will air Monday, May 11 at 8:30/7:30c, our sister site Variety reports. Additional new episodes will air every night that week.

The May 15 episode will likely especially intrigue “Boy Meets World” fans, as it marks the return of Cory Matthews’ brother Eric. Will Friedle will make his first guest appearance on the show on that episode.

Over the past couple of days, Marvel has slowly been revealing the cast for its upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy animated series, and now two more names have been announced, with Vanessa Marshall (Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, Star Wars Rebels) set to portray the assassin Gamora, and James Arnold Taylor (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Ultimate Avengers 2) supplying the voices for Yondu and Cosmo. Marvel has announced who will provide the voice for the final member of the Guardians of the Galaxy in the upcoming Disney Xd animated series. Following on from the announcement that Kevin Michael Richardson and Trevor Devall will lend their voices to Groot and Rocket Raccoon in the Guardians of the Galaxy animated show, Marvel has now revealed two more members of the voice cast for the upcoming Disney Xd series.
David Sobolov, who appeared alongside Richardson’s Groot and Devall’s Rocket in the Ultimate Spider-Man episode ‘The Return of the Guardians of the Galaxy’ is set to reprise the role of Drax the Destroyer, while former Boy Meets World star Will Friedle will lend his voice to Peter Quill, a.k.a. Star-Lord.
Friedle has himself previously featured in Ultimate Spider-Man, portraying Deadpool, while his other voice work includes Terry McGinnis in Batman Beyond, Lion-o in the revamped Thundercats, and Bumblebee in Transformers: Prime.

Welcome to a special edition of our news round-up, this time focusing on three comic book adaptations. The female lead in the Deadpool movie has been cast, the voice actors for Star-Lord/Peter Quill, Drax, Groot, and Rocket have been revealed for Disney Xd's Guardians of the Galaxy animated series (and fans of Boy Meets World and Batman Beyond should be very pleased with the Quill casting), and it's been announced that a Dreadstar TV series is in the works with the creator of the comic book series, Jim Starlin, executive producing and writing the project.
Deadpool: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Morena Baccarin (Inara Serra from Firefly and Serenity, Homeland, Gotham) will play the female lead in the upcoming Ryan Reynolds-starring Deadpool movie. The name of Baccarin's character has not yet been revealed, so it's unknown if she'll play a character from the Marvel comic book universe. »
