Mr. Feeny Returns for Girl Meets World

3 December 2014 7:53 AM, PST | Boomtron | See recent Boomtron news »

Just when fans thought thought that Girl Meets World would not get any better, it just did. The popular Disney spin off will be seeing more of the old faces from Topanga and Cory Matthews days of youth in the second season. That means Mr. Feeny will be back, along with Will Friedle and Ryder Strong also coming back for at least one or a couple roles. This included a return of their antics with a search in Mr. Feeny’s home. The new season will show growth in some and others who never change, as they are marketing. Besides that, we can expect more familiar faces popping up in 2015.

I am glad that Girl Meets World will embrace the past. I think this will only work out better for them as the older fans get to see more of the classic characters. It will certainly prove that being parents »

The Complete ThunderCats Reboot Coming to Blu-Ray in November

28 October 2014 8:02 AM, PDT | Cinelinx | See recent Cinelinx news »

In 2011, Cartoon Network rebooted the classic 80s series, ThunderCats and it was pretty awesome to watch.  If you missed out on it, however, Warner Bros. has announced that the full series is coming to blu-ray next month!

I grew up on the original ThunderCats cartoon back in the 80s and it remains one of my favorites.  When Cartoon Network rebooted the series a few years back, I was impressed with how well they handled it, and how enjoyable it actually was.  Sadly, however, the new series didn't seem to catch on with everyone and after 26 episodes, the series was put out to pasture.  If you were a fan of the show, however, or missed out on it, you're in luck.  Today it's been revealed that the complete series is heading to blu-ray on November 11, 2014:

ThunderCats Ho! Warner Archive Collection is proud to offer an all-new Blu-ray edition of “ThunderCats: The Complete Series, »

Sitcoms have given us so much - laughs, convoluted misunderstandings and even life lessons. But on occasion, they also broke from the typical formula and gave us a few scares. Sometimes they did it to celebrate Halloween. Sometimes they just did it to freak out children in the audience who might not be in on the joke. Here, then, are a handful of the oddball episodes of classic sitcoms that you can watch right now online - and that you might not believe actually aired until you see them for yourself. I'm Still Not Over... the happy ending of the 'Justice League Unlimited' cartoon

19 July 2014 7:20 AM, PDT | EW.com - PopWatch | See recent EW.com - PopWatch news »

July 23rd is Batman Day, and I can think of no better way to celebrate 75 years of Batman stories than by looking at Justice League Unlimited’s second season finale “Epilogue”—a Batman-centric episode that honors the character’s legacy, and one that I’m still not over.

Cartoon Network had yet to renew Justice League Unlimited for a third season when “Epilogue” was written, suggesting it was intended to bring the entire DC Animated Universe—which began in 1992 with the premiere of Batman: The Animated Series—to a close. The writers decided to end the Dcau where it all started. »

Remembering the Best and Worst of ABC’s Tgif Lineup

27 June 2014 1:11 PM, PDT | Variety - TV News | See recent Variety - TV News news »

In fall 1993, a coming-of-age comedy called “Boy Meets World” premiered on ABC’s “Tgif” Friday night lineup; 21 years later, its sequel series, “Girl Meets World,” is debuting on the Disney Channel with many of the original cast members reprising their roles for a new generation.

Few could have anticipated the enduring popularity of the family sitcom — which starred Ben Savage as Cornelius “Cory” Matthews and Danielle Fishel as his first love and eventual wife, Topanga Lawrence — but ABC’s Tgif block was responsible for a number of iconic comedies during its initial run between 1989 and 2000, many of which still live on in syndication today. And, as with all networks, the roster was also responsible for some spectacular trainwrecks, with concepts so surreal, you’d think a kid pitched them while on a sugar high.

Girl Meets World has added The Glades actor Uriah Shelton to the cast to play the part of Cory Matthew’s younger brother Joshua.

Shelton will first appear on Disney Channel’s Girls Meets World in an upcoming holiday episode, “Girl Meets Home for the Holidays,” reported E! News. When Boy Meets World wrapped 14 years ago and Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) were in college, Joshua was just a toddler, which makes him about 17 or 18.

Now a teenager, Joshua’s character, lead character Riley’s uncle, is billed as Cory’s “effortlessly cool little bro,” according to E!, which makes it seem like the youngest Matthews boy might have more in common with his eldest brother Eric (Will Friedle). New Animated ‘Batman’ 75th Anniversary Short

25 April 2014 2:30 AM, PDT | The Hollywood News | See recent The Hollywood News news »

It’s strange to think that Batman is 75 years old this year and with the multiple re-inventions and different iterations of the character we have seen, it looks like we will be visiting Gotham City for many more to come. To celebrate Batman’s 75th Anniversary, Warner Bros are certainly pulling out all the stops with the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight video game, 2 animated movies and a prequel television series in the form of Fox’s Gotham.

Today, Warner Bros Animation and DC Entertainment have released a brand new animated short focussing on the future version of the caped crusader, in order to commemorate the Dark Knight’s birthday. Batman Beyond ran from 1999 to 2001, and I don’t think I’m alone in saying that it is by far one of the greatest animated series’ of all time. As a result it was a great shame to see the show »
