Teen Titans: The Judas Contract Brings The Dark On April 18th – Trailer

Those who aren’t familiar with anything but the cute Teen Titans series are in for quite a surprise as the heroes return to their darker roots in Teen Titans: The Judas Contract, which is one of the most incredible efforts from the comics. Here’s Why Your Favorite Video Game Actors Are On Strike

Today marked the beginning of a SAG-aftra strike against 11 video game companies. For the first time in the history of the video game actors’ union, which now numbers 165,000, its members have been instructed to withhold their services, effective immediately.

The issues have been simmering since February 2015, when the existing labor agreement between SAG-aftra members and the video game companies expired. Four more meetings over 19 months failed to find a compromise, and SAG-aftra announced the strike effective just after midnight October 21.

Comic-Con: 'Batman Vs. Robin' and 'Justice League: Gods and Monsters' Animated Movies Coming
Earlier tonight, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment held a panel and a world premiere screening for their upcoming animated adventure Batman: Assault on Arkham at Comic-Con. During the panel, the studio announced the new titles that will debut in 2015, Batman Vs. Robin and Justice League: Gods and Monsters.

Bruce W. Timm will return to direct Batman Vs. Robin, which will also feature the Court of Owls. While no story details were given, it's believed that this will be an origin story featuring Talon and the Court of Owls, possibly adapted straight from Scott Snyder's comic book. In Court of Owls, Batman and Robin don't actually square off against one another, although there is a bit of tension between the duo and Nightwing. It's believed that this may also be a completely original story based on those characters, but that has not been confirmed.

The second movie is Justice League: Gods and Monsters,

Once again the long-running anime Naruto Shippuden offers up a theatrical venture that has no consequence. The film itself can simply be ignored from continuity and is in teh world of the film as well as it takes on a Pokemon The First Movie plot device at the end to make sure the events are never spoken of again. I always feel a bit annoyed at such conclusions because I’m left wondering “What was the point of it all?”

Naruto Shippuden The Movie: The Lost Tower sees Naruto sent back in time by 20 years on the hunt of Rogue Ninja Mukade. Upon arriving back in time, he discovers that Mukade, even though they travelled back just moments apart,

Let’s be honest, vampires are never going to become boring. You can make them sparkly, stick ‘em in a cape, have them as adults or children, and the hits are going to keep on coming. There’s something about the never aging undead that is both terrifying and alluring, more so than werewolves, zombies, or goblins. Nobody wants to be those things. So how does violent anime Hellsing Ultimate handle its vampiric qualities?

Hellsing Ultimate is the second anime adaptation of the popular manga series.

Young Justice Season 1 Episode 10 Review: Red Arrow Bites Off More Than He Can Chew

Young Justice returned last night with “Targets,” an episode that featured Red Arrow (Crispin Freeman) on a solo adventure in Tapei, Taiwan to keep the League of Shadows from starting a war between North and South Rhelasia, a country that split in half after World War II (much like Korea), where peace has eluded the citizens far too long. Disguised as a bodyguard, Red Arrow was on the lookout for anyone who might have their own idea of peace anticipating the arrival of the peace arbitrator. He spots who he believes is Cheshire (Kelly Hu) an assassin with ties to the League of Shadows who we last saw in episode 106, “Infiltrator.” Aqualad helped confirm her identity from Mount Justice using the vast amounts of data at reach. As usual, Red Arrow declined further assistance from the “junior Justice League” and took Cheshire on himself. He succeeds at thwarting her assassination attempt,

Studio Ghibli Video Vault – Howl’s Moving Castle

  • HeyUGuys
While I now, of course, appreciate the full genius of Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli – I’m only human – it wasn’t exactly love at first sight.

Having caught Spirited Away as a teenager, complete with pig parents and a rather spiritless American voice-over, I was clearly ill-equipped to take it in – distracted as I was by Pixar and their at that time peerless pixels. All that changed, however, when I discovered Howl and his absolutely enchanting moving castle.

For those of you who, like a younger me, haven’t discovered Studio Ghibli yet (there’s always one), Howl’s Moving Castle follows the various misadventures of Sophie (Chieko Baishō/Emily Mortimer), a beautiful 18 year-old hat-maker with confidence issues. Unintentionally attracting the attention of Howl (Takuya Kimura/Christian Bale), Sophie invokes the jealous wrath of the Witch of the Waste (Akihiro Miwa/Lauren Bacall), who curses the young haberdasher with
