Virginia Fox was born on April 19, 1902 in Wheeling, West Virginia, USA. She was an actress, known for The Haunted House (1921), Neighbors (1920) and The Goat (1921). She was married to Darryl F. Zanuck. She died on October 14, 1982 in Palm Springs, California, USA.

Took her grandmother each day to the set with her. Her children didn't find out for quite a while she'd ever been an actress.
Became separated from Darryl F. Zanuck in 1956 when he moved to Paris to follow young actress Bella Darvi, a young woman the Zanucks met in Paris in 1951 and subsequently sponsored for a brief period in Hollywood. She was never divorced from Zanuck; and although they had almost no personal contact after 1956, she retained her married name and resided alone in their Palm Springs home (basically unchanged) until her death in 1982.
Children: daughter Darrilyn Zanuck DePineda (1931), daughter Susan (1933), son Richard D. Zanuck (1935).
She is buried with her husband, Darryl Zanuck, in Westwood Memorial Park in Los Angeles, California. Plot information for her is Section D.
Comedienne of early Mack Sennett silents. Between 1921 and 1923 partnered Buster Keaton in one- and two reel shorts.
Discovered by Mack Sennett and instantly made into one of his 'bathing beauties' after she had visited his Keystone facility with a girlfriend, while on holiday from boarding school.
