Stocker Fontelieu was born on May 5, 1923 in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA as Charles Stocker Fontelieu. He is known for his work on Angel Heart (1987), Obsession (1976) and The Toy (1982). He died on December 14, 2009 in New Orleans.

Artistic director of Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre from 1961 to 1985.
Served as general director of the Little Theatre of Monroe, Louisiana and co-executive director of the Gallery Circle Theatre in New Orleans.
Studied drama at Tulane after the war and made his stage debut in 1947, graduating from Tulane in 1949.
Served in the Army during WWII and earned a Bronze Star and Purple heart during the landing at Okinawa in 1945.
Prominent actor on the New Orleans stage for over 50 years.
