The Nashville City Newspaper is currently reporting that Tna has filed a lawsuit against WWE and one of it’s own former employees – Brian Wittenstein who left Tna earlier this year.
In the story it is alleged that only a number of days after Wittenstein was terminated by Tna he approached WWE with insider secrets” as pertain to Tna talents contracts, the companies marketing strategy and other sensitive information which they feel gives the WWE an unfair advantage in the market.
Tna believe that it is through the actions of Wittenstein that ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair was able to illegally enter into negotiations with World Wrestling Entertainment and they fear that other members of the talent roster may follow suit. The news comes only days after it was announced that Flair and ex-Motor City Machine Gun Alex Shelley have left the company and are likely headed to WWE.

Tna Impact Wrestling fans are in shock this week over the news that the company has parted ways with one of its most exciting talents in Alex Shelley.
Shelley, one half of the Motor City Machine Guns with Chris Sabin, joined the company in 2004 and is a former Tag Team and X Division Champion. He has previously worked dark matches for WWE but has never officially wrestled for them, but that is set to change if internet reports are to be believed. Rumour has it that the on-again-off-again WWE Network is looking to run a show based around a cruiserweight division and given the level of interest in Alex from fans he is primed to be heavily featured. That is if he actually signs a deal.
Hot on the tail of this news word broke that Tna had also parted ways with Ric Flair. Flair is alleged to have been »

Last night’s WWE Raw SuperShow results from the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh.
Triple H is walking backstage with his arm in a brace and he walks into John Laurinaitis. The Raw General Manager tells him that he didn’t know Lesnar was going to attack him a fortnight ago and says that it was painful to watch Lesnar beat Hhh up, humiliate him and break his arm. Laurinaitis says Triple H has his support and sympathy. Triple H just stares down at Laurinaitis and says he is about to tell the whole world how he feels and wishes Johnny Ace luck in his match with John Cena on Sunday.
Hhh comes to the ring and says he is not concerned over his physical injuries sustained in Lesnar’s attack but he is offended by Lesnar’s remarks about bringing back legitimacy to the company. Triple H says the »

For any critic, opinions about a particular piece of art are influenced by your life experiences.
I grew up loving hockey in general and the Montreal Canadians in particular. The first hockey game that I ever saw was “The New Year’s Eve Classic” on December 31, 1975 between the Red Army and the Montreal Canadiens. The Canadiens out-shot the Red Army 38-13, but every Soviet shot was a planned dagger designed to confuse and destroy Montreal goaltender Ken Dryden, while Vladislav Tretiak batted away shots from every conceivable angle. The game, which many considered at the time to be the unofficial World Championship ended in a 3-3 tie.

Yes folks, it’s Tna PPV time again and we’ve had a look into our crystal ball to see who will be upsetting who and who has all the gold when the dust has settled.
Over the last few months we’ve seen the slow build of Robert Roode as a legit heel World Champion despite knowing in our heart of hearts that he’s only carrying the title while Tna build James Storm into the new Super-Face of the company. In the meantime he’s been feuding with on-air authority figure Sting, which leads us into yet another PPV main event starring a wrestler way beyond his prime despite a full roster of young talent that could put on a show stealing performance.
Robbie E and his TV Title Open Challenge.
I can’t believe Robbie E still has a job, or at least this horrendous gimmick. He »

The big showdown from the Mar. 12 Raw, live in Cleveland, Ohio is a musical battle between John Cena and the Rock.
We're two weeks away from "WrestleMania 28" on Sun., April 1. Live from the Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida, headliners Cena -- the face of World Wrestling Entertainment -- will be squaring off against wrestler-turned-movie star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson at the Super Bowl of wrestling.
But before we get ahead of ourselves, onto this week's showdown:
Opening Segment: John Cena's Battle Rap
Watch On WWE Fan Nation
Cena comes out in full "Doctor of Thuganomics" gear, complete with Cavaliers jersey. Despite the local sports team pandering and wrestling fans' love of nostalgia, Cena is met with a divisive crowd. He lays down some pretty vulgar rhymes, including wanting to give Rock a Cleveland steamer. Cleveland, uh, appreciates(?) the shout-out.

We are less than a month away from WrestleMania 28, and as always there is huge hype surrounding the top few matches on the card. But spare a thought for the match that takes place first on the card, whose job is to get the show off to a good start and psyche up the crowd.
What follows is a collection of the best of those opening matches, and what’s interesting is how many participants went on from opening the show, to main eventing it a few years later.
10. WrestleMania 15
Hardcore Title Match: Billy Gunn vs. Al Snow vs. Hardcore Holly
This match marked the first time that the Hardcore Title was defended at a Wrestlemania event. Prior to this match, Gunn was part of the Intercontinental Title programme, while his partner Road Dogg was the one known for Hardcore. For some reason, they switched divisions and Gunn defended here. »

Impact Wrestling – March 8th 2012
This weeks opening segment revolved around the Garrett Bischoff lightning push. Imagine how much someone who’s last name wasn’t Bischoff could benefit from getting a rub from both Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan at once. Garrett showed up despite being warned not to, just to show how brave he is. Kurt Angle made himself available as a partner for Gunner to face Garrett and a partner of his choosing, his reason being that he always respected his parents and that led him to a gold medal. “Immortal” bragged that Garrett would be on his own in the main event against both. But who would possibly team up with such a rookie? Maybe someone who has a problem with Kurt Angle? Of course it turned out to be Jeff Hardy, who has taken his face paint to a whole other idiot level this week again. »

When people piss and moan about the state of contemporary professional wrestling, or more specifically WWE, there are a few go-to complaints: Vince McMahon is an insane old man with too much power, Cena sucks, not enough actual wrestling, too much Nickelback, and so on, and so on. But much of the complaints of the most vocal internet wrestling fans seem to come down to the fact that the current WWE product just isn’t the Attitude Era that people remember loving so much. And in these fans minds, the most significant difference isn’t the dearth of big name stars like »

Impact Wrestling – Feb 15th 2012
Bobby Roode retained successfully at Against All Odds so he rightfully was the main focus of the show this week. Although you have to question why he made Christy introduce him twice, he must be a glutton for punishment. He also rightfully pointed out that it’s Sting’s own fault he is still champion. The “Insane Icon” didn’t like this and so hit the ring and put him in a No Dq, No Time Limit match against Jeff Hardy in the first match. Is anyone still drug testing Jeff? Only someone on drugs could devise such terrible entrances and face paint every week. Either way, they had a decent opening match which even had a few spots around the stage and ramp. Hardy was all over Roode for the majority, and only lost when Kurt Angle made a return and threw Jeff into the steps. »

Former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Ron Simmons (aka Faarooq in the WWE) is the latest name revealed for this year’s WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2012.
Simmons’s most notable achievement was becoming the first officially recognised African-American singles World Heavyweight Champion when he defeated Big Van Vader for the WCW World Title on August 2nd, 1992. During his time with the company he also won the WCW World Tag Team Title (with Butch Reed) as Doom, and the WCW United States Tag Team Titles with Big Josh.
He joined the WWE in 1996 and was the first leader of the African American Group the Nation of Domination. A botched feud with The Rock over the leadership of the Nation (where Simmons wasn’t made to look particularly strong) led Faarooq to the tag team division where he would remain for the rest of his career. He held the WWE World »

It's easy to take the Undertaker for granted. The guy controls lightning and dresses like an extra in a John Wayne movie in a day and age when it's not exactly in vogue to be a gimmick wrestler. Also, he's been wrestling in WWE more-or-less consistently since 1990, making him arguably more of a fixture in the company character-wise than even Vince McMahon. But even if he's only wrestling a single big match per year, Undertaker is still an incredibly important piece of WWE's DNA, owing largely to his status as wrestling's greatest throwback.
The most obvious way in which Undertaker harks back to an earlier ear is, »

Tna Impact Wrestling! 22nd January 2012
Last week, Bully Ray helped Bobby Roode retain again against Jeffrey Hardy. And this week, out first is James Storm with his Mickie James like entrance music/video. He’s number one contender now. He tells Kurt hes the greatest wrestler but he was better then threatens to whoop Roode’s ass. “Sorry about your damn…” He’s cut off by Jeff Hardy’s music and the Rainbow Emo himself comes to the ring. “I got screwed at the PPV, I got screwed last week.” He tells Storm nobody gets a shot until he gets his final encounter. Storm says a few months ago He got screwed. “You’d think with all this screwing he’d have a lot of child support to pay.” Before we can digest that thought, Roode comes out with a mic. He’s flattered at the attention but reminds Storm »

According to F4WOnline.com, Tna could have the legal right to sue WWE over using contracted Tna performer Ric Flair to help draw ticket and DVD sales for the WWE Hall of Fame 2012 ceremony. Flair was advertised on a recent WWE Raw episode as being inducted along with the other members of The Four Horseman and have already contacted ‘The Nature Boy’ about appearing at the ceremony. Tickets for the ceremony went on sale just days later.
It is unknown as of right now as to whether Tna will look to enforce any action against WWE for inducting Flair or whether they will allow him to turn up on the night of the ceremony. Tna and WWE could easily come to a financial settlement agreement that would allow Flair to show up on the night, or Flair might just let him turn up for free to enjoy the advertising »

That was a damn good episode of The Vampire Diaries.
You want emotion? How about two fake funerals, as Caroline and Elena both took significant steps toward a new path in life?!? You want action? How about a high-speed chase across a bride to somewhere really dangerous, via a game of revenge-based chicken? You want shocking moments?
How about a decapitation? A murder? A declaration of love from Tyler that was immediately followed by a nearly deadly bite into Caroline's gorgeous neck?!? Oh yes. "Our Town" had it all, including tequila and cake, the touchstone of any birthday party.
Let's start with Ms. Caroline Forbes. Seriously, is there anything more depressing than watching this typically cheery cheerleader (and third grade hop scotch champion!) in a bad mood? It's just not the way she's meant to be.
And who would have thought it would take Klaus, of all people, to put »

The Four Horseman’s induction into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2012 which includes Ric Flair, is the first time in the history of the WWE that they have inducted a performer who at the time is contracted to a rival promotion. Reports are that Triple H called Ric Flair on January 9th before the Raw episode and announcement was made and informed him that the Horseman were going in. Flair was at the Tna Impact tapings in Orlando and is of course contracted to that company.
Most in Tna, including senior officials, weren’t aware that Flair was to be inducted until they saw it on Raw. As of Tuesday, none of the Tna officials had brought it up with Flair but they probably have now. If they were smart they wouldn’t have any objection to Flair turning up for the Hall of Fame ceremony. WWE has »

As well as Edge, also announced on last night’s Raw for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2012 was The Four Horseman. From the way it was portrayed last night they will be inducted as a group consisting of J J Dillion, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Barry Windham and the already inducted Ric Flair. No Ole Anderson.
The decision to induct The Four Horseman as a group was rather interesting because Ric Flair is currently working and signed to a deal with rival company Tna. He was explicitly shown and mentioned in the promo video for the Class and photographed as being inducted so the WWE decided not to shy away from celebrating the Horseman without him.
So it will be interesting to see how they will handle this come the night before WrestleMania’s ceremony but maybe they will skirt around the issue then and just not mention Flair works for another company. »

With tickets for the 2012 WWE Hall of Fame going on sale to the general public this Saturday, January 14th, it is expected that the biggest inductee for this year’s class will be announced on tonight’s WWE Monday Night Raw from Baton Rouge. Usually the Monday before the tickets go on sale is when the Hall of Fame announcements begin to be made and tonight is expected to be no different.
The two candidates who are being spoken of the loudest for this year’s Hall of Fame are The Rock and Macho Man Randy Savage and there is a feeling that this year a big name will be inducted. The WWE are using the American Airlines Arena for the ceremony this year, a large venue the likes of which they have only used for big names like Steve Austin, Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels. The late Randy Savage »
