He acted in Henrik Ibsen's play, "The Wild Duck," at the St. Martin's Theatre in London, England with Anton Walbrook, Fay Compton, Robert Harris, Mai Zetterling, and Miles Malleson in the cast.

His best spell was from the mid-1940's, notably as Dr. Fenton The Fallen Idol
