The 28-year-old actress and the British comedian love to host showbiz stars at their shared home in Los Angeles, and the comedienne revealed they recently sang songs with Boy George at one of their events. When asked about their dinner parties, she said: ''Just before I came over to London we had one with Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher and the guy who created 'Mad Men' [Matt Weiner] and Sarah Silverman. ''Matt is extremely sociable, much more than me, and so he has so many friends. ''Boy George came round the other day and we did some singing.'' Parkes/MacDonald, Image Nation Extend Joint Venture for 5 Years

Parkes/MacDonald Productions and Image Nation Abu Dhabi have extended their joint venture with a new five year deal.

The new deal includes the appointment of Evan Hayes as president of production at Parkes/Macdonald, headed by Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald. He will oversee the company’s slate of feature film projects as well as supervise all aspects of production and creative development.

The deal extends a relationship which began in 2010 with a $10 million revolving financing fund. The relationship expanded in 2012 when Parkes+MacDonald/Image Nation was formed. The next Parkes+Macdonald/Image Nation project is the untitled feature-length documentary about Malala Yousafzai directed by Davis Guggenheim (“An Inconvenient Truth”).

The partnership has included  “Flight,” “Men In Black 3″ and the upcoming “Keeping Up with the Joneses,” written by Mike LeSieur, which the partnership developed through their $10 million fund, with Greg Mottola (“Superbad”) directing and Zach Galifianakis and Isla Fisher starring. »

Parkes/MacDonald And Image Nation Abu Dhabi Seal New Five-Year Deal

Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald and Image Nation Abu Dhabi are extending their deal for another five years and have named Evan Hayes as president of production at Parkes/Macdonald. Hayes was formerly the president of production at Story Mining & Supply Co. The extension of their joint venture expands the relationship first born in 2010 when the production company was given a $10 million revolving financial fund. Two years later the Men in Black producers and their partners formed a stronger union as Parks+Macdonald/Image Nation.

The next project from them is the untitled feature-length documentary about the courageous Pakastani schoolgirl Malala Yousafzai, who stood up to the Taliban after getting shot multiple times and is the youngest recipient ever of the Nobel Peace Prize. Parkes/MacDonald Productions and Image Nation Abu Dhabu have extended their joint venture with a new five year deal.

Now You See Me 2’s Official Title Revealed

Over the past few months, we’ve heard some pretty awful proposed titles for Now You See Me 2, Summit’s announced sequel to the 2013 magician caper, including (believe it or not) Now You See Me: Now You Don’t. Luckily, the filmmakers chose to go with a different tactic when subtitling the follow-up, as Mark Ruffalo has just revealed that the full title is Now You See Me: The Second Act

As ridiculous as it was, I really enjoyed Louis Leterrier‘s Now You See Me. The idea of a heist film with magic won me over. Now You See Me 2 is preparing to move into production, and Lionsgate has officially announced the cast and offered up a plot summary.

The movie will reunite the ensemble cast from the first film with three of the four horseman returning, including Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and Dave Franco, alongside Mark RuffaloMorgan Freeman, and Michael Caine. Lionsgate has announced that Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter, Horns), Lizzy Caplan (Masters of Sex, The Interview) and Taiwanese megastar Jay Chou have joined the cast of the upcoming sequel Now You See Me 2, which is being directed by Jon M. Chu (G.I. Joe: Retaliation).

Depsite previously stating that Isla Fisher would return, the actress is absent from this latest official announcement, with Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Morgan Freeman, Woody Harrelson, Michael Caine and Dave Franco the only names mentioned as reprising their roles.

Lionsgate Aims for the Fences at American Film Market

As Lionsgate morphs into a major studio, longtime foreign sales expert Patrick Wachsberger is unveiling a trio of high-concept titles at the American Film Market — “Deepwater Horizon,” starring Mark Wahlberg; Emma Watson-Miles Teller musical “La La Land”; and “Now You See Me 2.”

Though its reputation has been built on being the home of “Twilight” and “The Hunger Games” franchises, Lionsgate is using Afm to demonstrate just how far it’s come from its days as a mini-major.

Lionsgate has dated “Now You See Me 2″ for June 10, 2016 — the same weekend that the original caper comedy was released in 2013. Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine will reprise their roles.

Over the past few months, a handful of notable actors and directors have flirted with Lionsgate/Summit’s magic heist sequel Now You See Me 2. A few weeks ago actor Michael Caine revealed that Daniel Radcliffe will be in the upcoming sequel for Lionsgate's "Now You See Me 2."

Well now Lionsgate has made it official and announced that Daniel Radcliffe (“Horns,” “Kill Your Darlings,” “Harry Potter Films,”), Lizzy Caplan (Showtime's "Masters Of Sex," the upcoming "The Interview") and Jay Chou (Taiwanese mega-star) will star in the sequel.
