Retroplayer - So with Caprica being cancelled without the chance of a second series and BSG over are you proud of the work you did on them overall? How do you feel looking back?

Bear - I’m very proud of the work I did and contributions I made in helping to create a universe on those two series. I feel that BSG had such a profound influence on my life that even to try and talk about it is a fools errand. It changed me personally,

'Men Who Stare At Goats,' Ted Kennedy And Shannon Elizabeth's View Of The L.A. Fires In Today's Twitter-Wood

"Men Who Stare at Goats," the new George Clooney and Ewan McGregor film about psychic soldiers, kicked off a flurry of commentary on Twitter this week, and at least one producer out there loves Jeff Bridges' role.

There's been a lot of real-life drama sweeping through the Twitter-Wood feed as well this week, including Ted Kennedy's death and memorial service and the wildfires in Los Angeles that have forced thousands of residents out of their upscale L.A. neighborhoods. Shannon Elizabeth caught a shot of the fires from her living room window, which you can find below. It's all there along with Miley Cyrus and a factoid you likely never knew about Clive Barker in the Twitter-Wood report for August 28, 2009.

Twitter Pic of the Day:

@ShannonElizab http://twitpic.com/flivl - I just realized how close one of the fires is to me-this is out my living room window!

New clip from ‘The Final Destination’ – Watch out for that van!

Sad

The franchise is tired. One could say that the franchise was stale the moment Final Destination was released waaay back in 2000 and introduced the world to Kerr Smith. Not me. I wouldn’t say that. However, here’s what I would say about the latest installment of the “I’m going to escape death” series: I’m looking forward to seeing the carnage in 3D.

There, I said it.

Check out the clip from The Final Destination where Andrew Fiscella exposes his bravado.

The film stars Krista Allen, Shantel VanSanten and Bobby Campo.

The mayhem hits your multiplex on August 28, 2009.
