As a followup to the recently released clip, Disney-Pixar sent us a brand new death-defying trailer for the upcoming animated film ‘Cars 3’ by director Brian Fee and starring Armie Hammer, Nathan Fillion, Kerry Washington and Owen Wilson. In this new clip we get to see a better look at Lightning McQueen’s horrific car crash […]

Cars 3 looks like it could be a big improvement over its predecessor. Pixar is not the kind of studio that likes to repeat mistakes, especially since they very rarely make them in the first place. It might be difficult to call the Cars franchise a mistake altogether, but it certainly isn't the most popular among the Pixar faithful. But it looks like with Cars 3 they are taking a much more serious approach, as evidenced by this latest trailer, and it looks like it could pay off in more ways than one.
Pixar has released the brand new trailer for Cars 3, giving us our best, most well-rounded look at the upcoming third installment of the Cars franchise. This time around we get to hear a bit of Nathan Fillion's character, who is trying to convince Lighting McQueen that his racing days are over and that he should focus on merchandising. »
It’s only when we hit our lowest point that we’re open to the greatest change. At least, that’s how the old saying goes, and it’s one that very much applies to Lightning McQueen’s journey in Cars 3, the animated threequel from Pixar and director Brian Fee that’s booked in for release on June 16th.
Hot off the unveiling of Nathan Fillion’s suave charmer, Sterling, the Pixar Brian Trust has today lifted the tarpaulin on the new (and potentially final) Cars 3 trailer in which we find Armie Hammer’s boisterous newcomer Jackson Storm cementing his place as the hottest stock car on the circuit. However, that blistering rise to fame comes at the expense of Owen Wilson’s Lightning McQueen, who finds his once ironclad legacy hanging in the balance.

In addition to Owen Wilson, Disney and Pixar have enlisted new and old voices for the sequel, including Armie Hammer (aka Jackson Storm), Nathan Fillion (aka Sterling), Kerry Washington (aka Natalie Certain), and Bonnie Hunt (aka Sally Carrera). Cars 3 is just one of the many exciting Summer movies opening in 2017, with a release date of June 16. Check out the full trailer above and the first teaser below! »

From what we’ve seen so far of Cars 3, it looks like Disney-Pixar is taking the franchise in a new direction tonally with the third instalment of the blockbuster animated series. We’ll also be introduced to a number of new characters, one of which – Sterling – is being voiced by Nathan Fillion, and Fillion recently spoke to EW to give us some insight into the new owner of the Rust-eze Racing Center.
“While Lightning has been racing, the world has been changing, and Sterling has been at the forefront of that change and sees where it’s going and how to get that first,” said Fillion. “Anytime you say something about a quality of a character that’s ‘charming,’ I think a lot of people make the mistake and think of skeevy, but charming is someone who admires you, can disarm you, and gain your trust. He’s not being interesting, »

From Castle to Slither, Serenity to Firefly, few actors are held in such high regard as Nathan Fillion. For the legions of Browncoats out there, Fillion will forever be known as Malcolm Reynolds, the swashbuckling pilot who captured our imagination throughout Joss Whedon’s aforementioned sci-fi series before it was unceremoniously pulled off the airwaves more than a decade ago.
The actor has remained a fixture on screens big and small ever since though, and fans of all things Pixar will soon be able to see – or rather hear – Fillion in Brian Fee’s animated threequel, Cars 3. Per Entertainment Weekly, we now know his character to be Sterling, a “suave chief executive coupe who becomes the new sponsor of once-glorious racer Lightning McQueen.” EW’s reveal was accompanied by our first look at Sterling in action, who can be seen imparting wisdom and advice to Owen Wilson’s down-on-his-luck stock car. »

Warning. Minor spoilers for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 follow…
Back in April of last year some set photos from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 arrived online showing movie posters from the ‘Simon Williams Film Festival’, which also revealed that Nathan Fillion is portraying the character of Simon Williams, better known to Marvel comic book fans as Wonder Man.
As we await the release of the film (which is out a week today here in the UK), Fillion has taken to Instagram to share in image from a deleted scene from the hotly-anticipated sequel…
Update: As confirmed by director James Gunn, the image isn’t exactly from a deleted scene, but rather Fillion having some fun on set. That being said, it does sound like Fillion’s scene has been cut… »

Movies have to make tough decisions all the time in the editing process. When it comes to a final cut there are tons of scenes and shots that get deleted in order to make the movie more fluid, believable and just overall “better.” However, that doesn’t mean the cut footage is completely gone from existence nor does it mean said cut footage isn’t entertaining in its own right. You’d have to imagine that with a movie like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 there’s a ton of great footage out there we’ll never see in the final cut. Speaking of

Hot off the heels of the disappointing news Nathan Fillion won't be seen in the new Guardians Of The Galaxy film (though he voiced the rapey blue alien in the first one), here's some awesome news to make up for it! It turns out than none other than The Hoff himself David Hasselhoff has released an original single (with the band Sneepers) called "Guardian Inferno". You can... Read More »

Certain actors have such a loving fan base they could leap into a volcano only to be followed by a parade of Twitter followers and stalkers. Nathan Fillion of Firefly and Castle fame is one of those actors, and needless to say fans went bonkers when he posted a picture of himself on the set of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2, in full costume, hinting at a scene of his that was unfortunatley cut. The 2014 blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy featured a ton of Easter Eggs, including the now-infamous shot of Howard the Duck. And it's already clear that its sequel has plenty more. Director James Gunn already teased that there is a very early Easter Egg in the fourth shot of the film, but, unless you got to attend the world premiere or press screenings this week, you'll have to wait until May 5 to check it out. Unfortunately, the director also revealed in another interview that he had to cut one particular scene which featured a ton of Easter Eggs, and may have included Nathan Fillion's character.
Last April, a report surfaced that Nathan Fillion was playing a Marvel Comics character known as Simon Williams, who in the comics was a reformed villain who ultimately joined the Avengers, but later left the superhero group to pursue a career as an actor, although »

Michael Scofield’s latest escape… went not so great.
This week on Fox’s Prison Break, Michael spent much of the hour laboring to assure cell mates Whip, Sid and even Ja (who now suddenly is interested in their escapist adventures) that his loyalty is unwavering — this despite his apparent chumminess with Isil bigwig Abu Ramal, who has been released from solitary for Ramadan, and the smearing of his good name by a fellow prisoner dubbed “The Liar.”
